PCSyndra was last nerfed in Patch 26.4 (). Across 74 patches, Syndra has received 19 buffs, 12 nerfs, 42 adjustments since release in Patch 1.0.0.147.

Syndra has been rising through the ranks recently, with high CDR builds performing especially well. We don't want to hit how she feels with her Q poke and main defensive tool in Scatter the Weak, so instead we're going to take at some of her more guaranteed damage.
Force of Will
- Base damage reduced to 70/100/130/160/190 from 70/105/140/175/210.
Unleashed Power
- Base damage per sphere reduced to 80/120/160 from 90/130/170.
We’re delivering some power-neutral adjustments to Syndra, making her a stronger lane bully and teamfight carry mage while siphoning some power that should disproportionately impact non-pro players.

- New Innate: Syndra collects up to 120 Splinters of Wrath, enhancing each of her abilities based on the number collected and updating their ability icons. She restores 20 to 215 (based on level) mana whenever she collects a Splinter of Wrath from an enemy. Splinters of Wrath are brought to Syndra from enemies over 0.6 seconds. At 120 Splinters, Syndra achieves Transcendence, increasing her ability power by 15%.
- Dealing two instances of ability damage to an enemy champion within 4 seconds grants 1/2/3 (at level 1/11/18) Splinters. This cannot occur on the same target more than once every 8 seconds.
- Ranking up an ability with skill points beyond the first grants 5 Splinters.
- Killing a large minion grants 1 Splinter.
Dark Sphere
- Cooldown increased to 7 seconds from 4.
- AP ratio increased to 70% AP from 65% AP.
- Mana cost reduced to 40/45/50/55/60 from 40/50/60/70/80.

- New Effect: Collecting 60 Splinters of Wrath now causes it to deal 15% (+ 1.5% per 100 AP) bonus true damage.

- The main purpose of this change is that Syndra will now reset the lifespan of up to 3 spheres, as well as placing all 3 spheres in a convenient location for Scatter the Weak.
