The Masterwork item has the intended Masterwork stat bonus but also has a new icon and includes a caption that reads: "'Friend.' Yes, it is a funny word. Yet perhaps I understand its purpose."

- •Bug Fix: Tooltip now notes that the damage cap also applies against minions. Actual effect is unchanged.

To make this adoption a little easier, we're smoothing out its build path as Shiv doesn't need such a taxing build path.
