  • Soldier command range reduced to 660 from 800.
  • Cast range increased to 500 from 450.
  • Removed: Soldiers being able to attack wards or trinkets.
  • Soldier stab base damage changed to 60 to 185 (based on level) from 50 to 195 (based on level).
  • New Effect: Passive attack speed is now doubled to 40/60/80/100/120% while Azir has 3 soldiers active, which falls off after 5 seconds.
  • Recharge time reduced to 8/7.5/7/6.5/6 seconds from 10/9/8/7/6.
  • New Effect: Stabs deal 40%/70%/100% (at level 1/6/11) damage to secondary targets.

Shifting Sands

  • New Effect: Shield now scales with 70% AP.
  • Shield duration reduced to 1.5 seconds from 4.
  • New Effect: Shield is now granted instantly instead of only upon colliding with a champion.
  • New Effect: If Azir hits an enemy champion, he gains a charge of Arise!.

Emperor's Divide

  • Removed: The wall no longer knocks back any enemy who attempts to pass through once stationary, although still functions as impassible terrain. Still knocks back during the charge.
  • Wall size increased to 5/6/7 soldiers from 4/5/6.
  • Cooldown reduced to 120/105/90 seconds from 140/120/100.

  • Cooldown changed to 12 seconds at all ranks from 14/13/12/11/10.
  • Minimum range increased to 1000 from 850.
  • Maximum range increased to 1750 from 1742.5.
  • New Effect: Howling Gale now always reaches its destination in 1.5 seconds.

Zephyr

  • Cooldown reduced to 8 seconds at all ranks from 12.
  • Slow duration reduced to 2 seconds from 3.
  • Bonus movement speed reduced to 6/7/8/9/10% from 9/11/13/15/17%.
  • Range changed to er from cr.

  • Heal's base value changed to 8 to 59 (based on level) from 30/35/40/45/50.
  • Heal's AD ratio changed to 10% AD from 20% bonus AD.

Three Talon Strike - Q

  • Base damage per hit reduced to 15/20/25/30/35 from 15/30/45/60/75
  • AD ratio per hit changed to 40% bonus AD from 20% AD.

Wind Becomes Lightning - New W

  • Active: Xin Zhao performs two swift strikes over a 0.6/0.5/0.4 (based on bonus attack speed) second period, the first dealing physical damage to all enemies in an arc and the second dealing a greater amount of damage and slow all enemies in a line for 50% for 1.5 seconds. Wind Becomes Lighting benefits from 33.3% of Xin Zhao's lifesteal and each strike will stack and can apply Determination.
  • Slash deals 30/40/50/60/70 (+ 30% AD) damage.
  • Thrust deals 30/65/100/135/170 (+ 85% AD) damage.
  • The duration on his other abilities is paused during the effect.
  • Deals only 50% damage against minions.

Audacious Charge - E

  • Mana cost reduced to 50 from 60.
  • Cast range increased to 650 from 600.
  • Effect radius increased to 125 from 112.5.
  • Base damage reduced to 50/75/100/125/150 from 70/110/150/190/230.
  • Slow duration reduced to 0.5 seconds from 2.
  • Slow increased to 50% at all ranks from 25/30/35/40/45%.
  • New Effect: Grants 40/45/50/55/60% bonus attack speed for 5 seconds after reaching his target. This is repurposed from Battle Cry Active, value unchanged.

Crescent Guard - R

  • Renamed to Crescent Guard from Crescent Sweep.
  • Base damage increased to 75/175/275 from 75/150/225.
  • Effect radius increased to 250 from 187.5.
  • New Passive - Challenge: The last enemy champion that Xin Zhao attacked or targeted with Audacious Charge is Challenged for 3 seconds.
  • Removed: 15/20/25 bonus resistances per champion hit.
  • New Effect: For the next 3 seconds, Xin Zhao gains Awareness, taking 100% reduced damage from enemies who are more than 450 units away from him. Basic attacks and abilities versus champions will extend the duration by 0.3 seconds, but the remaining duration cannot exceed 3 seconds.
