League of Legends Patch 13.1 was released on Jan 10, 2023. This update included changes to 31 champions, with 8 buffs, 6 nerfs, 17 adjustments.

- •Bug Fix: Animations are now properly played when cast against a champion performing Cease and Desist.
- •Bug Fix: Target player's screen after being zoomed out now properly zooms back in after being knocked through terrain at a very long distance.

- •Undocumented: Probably fixed a bug where a helper unit for Rebirth decals on this could stick around after Anivia's death under rare circumstances as an unkillable egg minion.
Shurima's Legacy
- •Bug Fix: While the Sun Disc is summoned over the turret rubble in the Howling Abyss, it can now be properly targeted and no longer sometimes appears to be invisible from the enemy's perspective.
Caretaker's Shrine
- •Bug Fix: Can no longer cast the spell twice in a row when targeting an ally and a location each in quick succession.
Stand Behind Me
- •Bug Fix: Now properly grants assist credit to the caster if it affects an ally.
- •Bug Fix: Restored buff VFX.
Parallel Convergence
- •Bug Fix: No longer detonates in some instances when casting Chronobreak without actually travelling through the area with it.
Midscope update. All abilities adjusted. Jax’s midscope update is on the smaller side compared to our previous onces. Overall, we like his simpler gameplay and kit, but we felt there was room to make his ultimate ability more interesting. Additionally, we’ve shifted his AP ratios around to buff up his burstier AP playstyle that’s seen play in the past. All of that said, unfortunately Jax still doesn’t have a real weapon…

If this hits a champion, he gains 10% increased size and 25/45/65 (+ 40% bonus AD) bonus armor, increased by 15/20/25 (+ 10% bonus AD) per subsequent champion hit, and bonus magic resistance equal to 60% of armor gained for 8 seconds. He applies his passive on-hit every 2 stacks instead of every 3 while active.

Axiom Arc is a cool item but really only has one core user in Nocturne (and we love him for it). With a buff aimed at assassins, we hope that more players will be casting more ultimates so they can ultimately complete their anime protagonist arc.

Rod of Ages is still a bit weak after having its cost buffed and is missing the mark a bit when it comes to that classic RoA experience we all love and remember. We’re shipping some small buffs this patch aimed at the item's immediate power spike as a stat stick while also making the Move Speed more noticeable and effective. We’re also making adjustments to the Eternity passive as it's currently skewing too far towards taking damage (and restoring mana) versus casting spells (and healing).
