Innate: Aurelion Sol's damaging abilities against enemies generate him permanent stacks of Stardust, which gradually augments his abilities. * Breath of Light: Bursts deal bonus magic damage based on the target's maximum health. * Astral Flight: Range is increased by 7.5 units per Stardust. * Singularity: Outer and inner radius increased equal to 15% Stardust, and the execution threshold is increased. * Falling Star / The Skies Descend: Impact radius increased equal to 15% Stardust.

While Aurelion Sol can still be a menace in the late game (deliberately so), we don’t think his early game needs to be quite as painful as it currently is so we’re giving him better early trades and generally improving his ability to dodge skill shots and navigate fights. His W is based on his underlying move speed, so this move speed buff helps his flying, too.

Cosmic Creator (Innate)

  • Innate: Aurelion Sol's damaging abilities against enemies grant him stacks of Stardust, which improve each of his abilities. The amount of Stardust collected by each ability may vary by target.
  • Breath of Light: Bursts deal bonus magic damage equal to (0.031% Stardust stacks) of the target's maximum health.
  • Astral Flight: Range is increased by 7.5 units per Stardust.
  • Singularity: Outer and inner radius increased by 15% Stardust stacks, and execution threshold increased by 2.6% Stardust stacks.
  • Falling Star and The Skies Descend: Effect radius increased by 15% Stardust stacks.

Breath of Light (Q)

  • Active: Aurelion Sol channel for up to 3.25 seconds to exhale a beam of starfire, during which he can steer the beam in the target direction. The beam collides with the first enemy hit, standard sight them, and deals them 3.75 to 11.25 (based on level) (+ 1.875/3.125/4.375/5.625/6.875) (+ 7.5% AP) magic damage every 0.125 seconds, reduced to 50% for other surrounding enemies hit by the beam.
  • Breath of Light can be recast within the duration, and does so automatically afterwards.
  • For each second that the beam continuously damages the same enemy, it bursts to deal 20 to 40 (based on level) (+ 40/50/60/70/80) (+ 50% AP) (+ (0.031% Stardust stacks) of target's maximum health) bonus magic damage and grants 1 Stardust if the target is a champion. The damage based on the target's health ratio is capped at 300 against monsters.
  • Recast: Aurelion Sol ends Breath of Light early.
  • At rank 5, Breath of Light's channel duration lasts for as long as Aurelion Sol can pay its mana cost.
  • Mana Cost: 22.5/25/27.5/30/32.5 per 0.5 seconds.

Astral Flight (W)

  • Active: Aurelion Sol dash in the target direction and resets Breath of Light cooldown. While in flight, he has unobstructed vision and Breath of Light has no cooldown and maximum channel duration and its flat damage is increased by 14/15.5/17/18.5/20%, but Astral Flight's dash speed is reduced by 50% during its channel.
  • Aurelion Sol will be knockdown by any immobilize crowd control during the dash.
  • Astral Flight can be recast after 0.5 seconds during the dash, and does so automatically after reaching the destination.
  • Recast: Aurelion Sol ends Astral Flight early.
  • Scoring a champion takedown within 3 seconds of damaging them reduces Astral Flight's current cooldown by 90% of its total cooldown.
  • Aurelion Sol will not dash if he is immobilize or ground during the cast time. He can cast any of his abilities during the dash. Breath of Light channel will be interrupted if Astral Flight ends or Singularity is cast during the flight, but the ability will automatically be cast afterwards. Astral Flight will cast at max range if cast beyond that.

  • Cooldown: 22/20.5/19/17.5/16 seconds.

Singularity (E)

  • Active: Aurelion Sol blasts the target location, conjuring a black hole after a 0.5-second delay that grants sight of the area, lasts for 5 seconds, and deals 2.5/3.75/5/6.25/7.5 (+ 10% AP) magic damage every 0.25 seconds to enemies within the area.
  • Enemies in the black hole are kinematics toward its center over the duration. Non-epic monster targets within the center that are below 5% (+ 2.6% Stardust stacks) of their maximum health are also execute. Additionally, non-champions affected have their movement speed reduced to 0.
  • After Singularity ends, Aurelion Sol is granted 1 Stardust for each continuous second that enemy champions were inside it, and a varying amount of Stardust for enemies that died while within the area:
  • Epic monsters grant 10 Stardust.
  • Champions and large monsters grant 5 Stardust.
  • Large minions grant 3 Stardust.
  • Small minions and monsters grant 1 Stardust.
  • Mana Cost: 60/70/80/90/100.

  • Active: Aurelion Sol summons an enormous star to impact the target location after 2 seconds, dealing 25% increased damage, exploding in a larger radius, and airborne enemies hit for 1.25 seconds.
  • Upon impact, a massive shockwave is unleashed which rapidly expands outward from the impact location over 3 seconds, dealing 150/250/350 (+ 65% AP) magic damage to enemy champions and epic monster hit, and slow all enemies hit by 75% for 1 second and standard sight them for 1.5 seconds.
  • Mana Cost: 100.
  • Cooldown: 120/110/100 seconds.

Center of the Universe - Innate

  • Three stars constantly orbit Aurelion Sol, dealing magic damage and applying spell effects to enemies they strike.

Starsurge - Q

  • Aurelion Sol fires the core of a newborn star in a target direction that explodes—dealing damage and stunning all nearby enemies—upon reactivation or once it travels beyond his stars' maximum orbital range. Aurelion Sol can travel alongside Starsurge, and by keeping it close he'll nurture it, growing it in size so that it damages and stuns a wider area when it explodes.

Celestial Expansion - W

  • Aurelion Sol pushes his stars out to his outer ring, significantly increasing their power. Celestial Expansion costs mana to cast and drains mana every second the ability is toggled on. Once he toggles the ability off or runs out of mana, Aurelion Sol pulls his stars back.

Comet of Legend - E

  • Passive: Aurelion Sol builds up increasing movement speed as he travels continuously in the same direction, and loses speed on sharp turns. Some of this speed is stored away as Escape Velocity stacks, which are lost entirely whenever he takes damage from an enemy.
  • Active: Once Aurelion Sol maxes his Escape Velocity stacks, he can activate Comet of Legend to pull in his orbiting stars and take flight, traversing over terrain for a long distance. He cannot turn once his course is set, and enemy damage will bring Aurelion Sol back to earth, restoring his orbiting stars.

Voice of Light - R

  • Aurelion Sol shoots out a long wave of starfire in a target direction that damages and slows all struck enemies. Nearby enemies caught in the blast are also knocked back to Aurelion Sol's outer ring.
