Signature of the Visionary - Innate
- •Innate: Hwei's damaging abilities mark enemies hit for 4 seconds. Damaging them with a different ability consumes the mark to create an explosion beneath them, dealing 35 to 180 (based on level) (+ 30% AP) bonus magic damage to enemies in the area after 0.85 seconds.
- •Effect Radius: 285.
Subject: Disaster - Q
- •Active: Hwei enters a disastrous mood, gaining access to its abilities as well as Wash Brush. He will exit the mood upon casting any of them.
- •Mana Cost: 100/105/110/115/120.
- •Cooldown: 10/9/8/7/6 seconds.
- •Cast Time: None.
Devastating Fire - QQ
- •Active - QQ: Hwei slings a fireball in the target direction that explodes upon colliding with the first enemy or reaching maximum range, dealing 60/90/120/150/180 (+ 60% AP) (+ 4/4.5/5/5.5/6% of target's maximum health) magic damage to all nearby enemies. The damage based on the target's health ratio is capped at 250 against monsters.
- •Cast Time: 0.25 seconds, Range: 800, Speed: 2000.
Severing Bolt - QW
- •Active - QW: Hwei calls upon a lightning bolt to strike at the target location after 1 second, dealing 80/100/120/140/160 (+ 25% AP) magic damage to enemies within the area.
- •Against enemies that are immobilize or isolated from their allies, Severing Bolt deals 200/237.5/275/312.5/350% increased damage based on the target's missing health. This bonus damage is capped at 300 against monsters.
- •Severing Bolt deals 50% damage to minions and non-epic monsters.
- •Cast Time: 0.5 seconds, Target Range: 1900.
Molten Fissure - QE
- •Active - QE: Hwei marks a blazing path in the target direction. After 0.7 seconds, the path erupts into volcanic explosions every 0.175 seconds from the point of cast. Each explosion creates a shockwave that deals 20/40/60/80/100 (+ 30% AP) magic damage to nearby enemies.
- •Each explosion also leaves a lava fissure in its wake. A fissure lasts for 2.5 seconds, dealing 5/10/15/20/25 (+ 6.25% AP) magic damage every 0.25 seconds to enemies within the area and slow them by 30%.
- •Molten Fissure's damage is reduced to 60% against minions and increased to 135% against monsters.
- •Cast Time: 0.35 seconds.
Subject: Serenity - W
- •Active: Hwei enters a serene mood, gaining access to its abilities as well as Wash Brush. He will exit the mood upon casting any of them.
- •Mana Cost: 90/95/100/105/110.
- •Cooldown: 18/17.5/17/16.5/16 seconds.
- •Cast Time: None.
Fleeting Current - WQ
- •Active - WQ: Hwei forms a current of water in the target direction, creating a path for 4/4.5/5/5.5/6 seconds that grants him and allied champions 20/22.5/25/27.5/30% (+ 2% per 100 AP) bonus movement speed and ghosting for 0.5 seconds, refreshing every 0.125 seconds while they remain in the area.
- •Cast Time: 0.25 seconds.
Pool of Reflection - WW
- •Active - WW: Hwei summons a pool of water at the target location, creating a protective zone for 3 seconds that grants him and allied champions a shield for 45/55/65/75/85 (+ 30% AP) for 0.5 seconds while within the area. The shield refreshes and increases in strength by 3.75/4.58/5.42/6.25/7.08 (+ 2.5% AP) every 0.25 over the duration while they remain in the area, up to a total maximum shield of 90/110/130/150/170 (+ 60% AP).
- •Pool of Reflection's shield strength is reduced to 50% for allies.
- •Cast Time: 0.3 seconds.
Stirring Lights - WE
- •Active - WE: Hwei surrounds himself in swirling flares that empower his next 3 basic attacks or ability hits within 9 seconds to each deal 25/35/45/55/65 (+ 20% AP) bonus magic damage and restore 45/50/55/60/65 mana.
- •Stirring Lights' bonus damage is reduced to 50% against minions or monsters if applied by his area of effect abilities.
- •Cast Time: None.
Subject: Torment - E
- •Active: Hwei enters a tumultuous mood, gaining access to its abilities as well as Wash Brush. He will exit the mood upon casting any of them.
- •Mana Cost: 50/55/60/65/70.
- •Cooldown: 15/14/13/12/11 seconds.
- •Cast Time: None.
Grim Visage - EQ
- •Active - EQ: Hwei launches a terrifying grin in the target direction that deals 60/90/120/150/180 (+ 55% AP) magic damage to the first enemy hit and fear them for 1 second, during which they are slow by 60%.
- •Cast Time: 0.25 seconds.
Gaze of the Abyss - EW
- •Active - EW: Hwei tosses an eyeball to the target location. Upon arrival, it expands into a dark gaze for 1.35 to 3 seconds based on cast distance, granting sight in a larger area. After 0.7 seconds of being placed, the eye locks onto the nearest visible enemy champion, launching itself at the target after 0.35 seconds and colliding with the first enemy hit to deal 60/90/120/150/180 (+ 55% AP) magic damage, true sight them for 2.5 seconds, and root them for 1.2/1.4/1.6/1.8/2 seconds.
- •Cast Time: 0.25 seconds, Effect Radius: 350.
Crushing Maw - EE
- •Active - EE: Hwei conjures a jaw at the target location that snaps after 0.627 seconds, dealing 60/90/120/150/180 (+ 55% AP) magic damage to enemies in the area and slow them by 40/47.5/55/62.5/70%, decaying over 1.25 seconds. Enemies that are not standing at the center when the jaw snaps are airborne there.
- •Cast Time: 0.35 seconds.
Wash Brush - QR, WR, ER
- •Active - QR, WR, ER: Hwei exits his current mood without incurring its ability cost or cooldown.
- •Wash Brush can only be cast if Hwei has entered a mood.
- •Cast Time: None.
Spiraling Despair - R
- •Active: Hwei launches a globule of pure despair in the target direction that collides with the first enemy champion hit, afflicting them with an aura that grows over 3 seconds, true sight the target, and grants sight within its radius. Enemies within are both dealt 2.5/5/7.5 (+ 1.25% AP) magic damage and applied a stack of Despair every 0.25 seconds.
- •Despair: For each stack, the target is slow by 10% for 0.25 seconds, stacking up to 12 times.
- •At the end of the duration or when the target dies, the aura explodes to deal 200/300/400 (+ 80% AP) magic damage to enemies within and remove all Despair stacks from affected enemies.
- •Spiraling Despair can only be cast if Hwei has not entered a mood.
- •Mana Cost: 100.
- •Cooldown: 140/115/80 seconds.
- •Cast Time: 0.25 seconds, Range: 1340, Effect Radius: 500, Width: 160, Speed: 1400.
Base mana regeneration increased. R knock up duration increased.

- •Base mana regeneration increased to 7 from 6.
Glacial Fissure
- •Minimum knock up duration increased to 0.6 seconds from 0.3.
Q cooldown decreased.
Winds of War
- •Cooldown reduced to 12/11/10/9/8 seconds from 12/11.5/11/10.5/10.
Passive cooldown now decreases with level.
Happy Hour
- •Cooldown reduced to 12/10/8/6 (at level 1/6/11/16) seconds from 12 at all levels.
W mana cost decreased, damage increased.
Path Maker
- •Mana cost reduced to 40/45/50/55/60 from 60/65/70/75/80.
- •Armor ratio increased to 50% bonus armor from 30%.
- •Magic resistance ratio increased to 50% bonus magic resistance from 30%.
W bonus armor and MR increased. R damage increased.
Eclipse
- •Base bonus resistances increased 20/27.5/35/42.5/50 from 20/25/30/35/40.
Solar Flare
- •Base damage increased to 150/225/300 from 100/175/250.
E cooldown decreased.
Relentless Pursuit
- •Cooldown reduced to 19/17.75/16.5/15.25/14 seconds from 22/20/18/16/14.
Q damage increased. R now reveals the target upon initial cast.
Obliterate
- •AP ratio increased to 70% AP from 60% AP.
Realm of Death
- •New Effect: Now true sight the target for the duration of the cast.
Base mana and mana growth increased.
Stats
- •Base mana increased to 375 from 320.
- •Mana growth increased to 60 from 50.
Ranged Q now also resets Talon's attack timer.
Noxian Diplomacy
- •New Effect: Dash cast now resets his basic attack timer as well.
W and E Bugfixes
Void Rift
- •Bug Fix: Rift missile and the entire visual effects now spawn even if he dies in the first 0.25 seconds after casting. Consequently, the rift collapse damage is now accompanied by its proper visuals in this case.
Tectonic Disruption
- •New Effect: Missile now spawns near the target location instead of at his location.
- •Bug Fix: Spell no longer fizzles out it if he moved further than 1100 units away from the target location before the end of the cast time (e.g. using Flash).
AD growth increased. W damage increased.
Stats
- •Attack damage growth increased to 2 from 1.3.
Ultrashock Laser
- •Base damage increased to 30/70/110/150/190 from 20/60/100/140/180.
Base armor decreased, attack speed ratio increased. Q damage increased. W bonus attack speed decreased. E damage resistance decreased, healing decreased. R damage decreased, damage type changed to magic.

- •Attack speed ratio increased to 0.669 from 0.644.

Chilling Scream
- •Damage reduction reduced to 35% from 40%.
Certain Death
- •Damage type changed to magic from physical.
- •AP ratio increased to 120% AP from 110% AP.
- •Bonus AD ratio reduced to 50% bonus AD from 75%.
Base health decreased. E slow decreased.
Stats
- •Base health reduced to 630 from 655.
Triggerseed
- •Slow reduced to 45/50/55/60/65% from 50/55/60/65/70%.
Whirling Death
- •Bug Fix: No longer causes himself to be executed if the missiles return to him while the number of his League of Draven stacks were higher than his current health at the start of the cast.
Venomous Bite
- •Bug Fix: Hit SFX now plays correctly while in Spider Form.
Hate Spike
- •Bug Fix: SFX now properly plays even if the target is in close proximity.
Tormented Shadow
- •Bug Fix: Pool VFX is now visible over terrain.
Inherent Glamour
- •Bug Fix: No longer is allowed to inherit the attributes of more than one unit at a time, which sometimes granted her 2.5 attack speed.

- •Undocumented / Bug Fix: Casting Shapesplitter during Homeguard no longer causes the wings VFX to become permanently attached to her model.
