Poppy was last nerfed in Patch 25.19 (). Across 64 patches, Poppy has received 20 buffs, 7 nerfs, 36 adjustments since release in Patch 1.0.0.70.

Passive - Iron Ambassador

Innate: Periodically, Poppy's next basic attack on-attack is empowered to throw her buckler, gaining 350 bonus range and dealing 20 - 198.82 (based on level) bonus magic damage. After it hits, the buckler then falls to a location near the target over 1 second, landing and remaining there for up to 4 seconds.

Poppy can move over the buckler to retrieve it, gaining a shield for 11% - 21.06% (based on level) of her maximum health for 3 seconds. If the buckler kills the target, or if the target is already dead when the buckler hits it, the buckler will bounce back to Poppy instead of falling. Enemy champion can move over the buckler to destroy it.

Magic Damage: 70 / 110 / 150 / 190 / 230 (+ 70% AP)

Active: Poppy gains 40% bonus movement speed and creates an aura around herself for 2 seconds, causing all enemies who attempt to dash into or within it to be dealt magic damage and airborne for 0.5 seconds. If a target was successfully interrupted, they become grounded and slow by 25% for 2 seconds.

Steadfast Presence can only block a single dash per enemy per cast.

Active: Poppy channels while being slow by 15% for up to 4 seconds to increase Keeper's Verdict's range and airborne distance over 0.5 seconds after the first 0.5 seconds of the channel. Keeper's Verdict can be recast within the duration.

Increased Damage: 200 / 300 / 400 (+ 90% bonus AD)

Recast: Poppy releases the charge to launch her hammer upwards, dealing physical damage to enemies nearby and in an area in front of her and airborne for 1 second.

If Keeper's Verdict was charged for at least 0.5 seconds, it deals 100% increased damage and enemies hit are airborne up-to 3400 units toward the enemy team's fountain, during which they are standard sight and rendered untargetable. Additionally, if no enemies are hit in front of Poppy, she sends a shockwave that travels in the target direction until it collides with an enemy champion, which causes a hammer to erupt. Targets hit by the shockwave or the eruption receive the charged effects.

If the charge is interrupt or completes without reactivation, Keeper's Verdict is cancelled and the ability is put on a 30-second cooldown.

Patch 25.19nerf

Poppy finally has a relatively equivalent win rate spread across her roles, but is overall a little too strong in all three. She’s also near the top jungle spot in pro play and we’d like to create more room for other junglers to get play.

  • Every 18/14/10 (at level 1/7/13) seconds, Poppy's next basic attack gains 400 bonus attack range , hurling her buckler at her target and dealing 20 to 190 (based on level) bonus magic damage. The buckler ricochets off the target to land on the floor nearby and Poppy can pick it up to shield herself for 15% maximum health for 5 seconds (enemies can step on the buckler to destroy it) If Iron Ambassador kills the target, the buckler does not fall to the ground but instead ricochets directly to Poppy.
  • Hammer Shock (Q)
  • Poppy slams the ground, dealing 40/70/100/130/160 (+ 65% bonus AD) (+ 6% target's maximum health) physical damage (80% against minions) and cracking the ground, slowing enemies in the area by 20/25/30/35/40%. After 1 second, the ground erupts dealing the same damage again.
  • Cooldown: 9/8/7/6/5.

  • Passive: Poppy's total armor and total magic resistance are increased by 12%, doubled when she falls below 40% maximum health.

  • First Cast: Poppy begins charging, slowing herself by 15% but increasing Keeper's Verdict's smash range and displacement distance over the next 2 seconds (Keeper's Verdict is canceled and the cooldown is refunded by 75% if Poppy doesn't cast again after 4 seconds).
  • Second Cast: Poppy smashes the ground, sending out a fissure in the target direction that deals 200/300/400 (+ 90% bonus AD) physical damage to every non-champion it passes through. When the fissure collides with an enemy champion, a massive hammer erupts from the ground, dealing the same physical damage to all enemies in a tiny area and knocking all enemy champions hit an enormous distance towards their Summoning Platform (enemy champions are untargetable while being displaced).

Valiant Fighter (Innate)

  • Any damage dealt to Poppy that exceeds 10% of her current health is reduced by 50%. This doesn’t affect damage dealt by structures.

Devastating Blow (Q)

  • Poppy crushes her opponent, dealing base damage plus a flat amount and a percentage of her target’s max health as a bonus damage. The bonus damage cannot exceed a threshold based on rank.

Paragon of Demacia (W)

  • Passive: Upon being hit or attacking an enemy, Poppy's armor and damage are increased by a flat amount for 5 seconds. This effect can stack 10 times.
  • Active: Poppy gains max stacks of Paragon of Demacia and her Movement Speed is increased for 5 seconds.

Heroic Charge (E)

  • Poppy charges at an enemy and carries them for a short distance. The initial impact deals a small amount of damage, and if they collide with terrain, her target will take a high amount of damage and be stunned.

Diplomatic Immunity (Ultimate)

  • Poppy focuses intently on a single target dealing increased damage to them. Poppy is immune to any damage and abilities from enemies other than her target.
