Passive - Bridge Between

Innate - Awakened Spirit: Udyr has no ability and instead has 4 ability that each incur a 1.5 -second global cooldown when cast. Each ability grants a Stance that empowers his basic attacks, and switching Stances will replace the empowered attacks of the previous Stance.

Periodically, after Udyr enters a Stance, he can cast it again at no cost after 0.25 seconds and within the following 5 seconds to Awaken it, empowering the Stance with an additional effect and placing the effect on cooldown. If Udyr does not consume the Awaken cast within the duration and has not switched Stances, his current Stance's respective ability incurs a 0.25 -second cooldown. Awakened Spirit is placed on full cooldown at the start of the game.

Innate - Monk Training: After casting an ability, Udyr empowers his next two basic attacks on-hit within 4 seconds to gain 30% bonus attack speed and refund 5% of Awakened Spirit's total cooldown, though not if the remaining cooldown is less than 1 second.

Udyr's next two basic attacks on-hit in any Stance within 4 seconds are each empowered to strike with lightning 6 times over 1 second, dealing bonus magic damage equal to 1.5% - 3.18% (based on level) (+ 0.8% per 100 AP) of the target's maximum health per hit, chaining to up to 3 nearby sight enemies and being able to hit the same target multiple times, for a total of 9% - 19.06% (based on level) (+ 4.8% per 100 AP) of the target's maximum health. Additionally, Udyr summons a blizzard around himself for 4 seconds that deals magic damage every 0.5 seconds to nearby enemies and slow them while they remain within. Minions take 50% / 60% / 70% / 80% damage.

Recast - Awaken: Udyr ends the blizzard if it is active and unleashes a glacial storm for 4 seconds that is able to move on its own, as well as causes the empowered attacks to instead deal their damage to enemies within that storm. The storm applies the same effects as the blizzard but deals bonus magic damage equal to 1% - 1.84% (based on level) (+ 0.44% per 100 AP) of the target's maximum health per tick and slow by an additional 5%. Against monsters, the storm's per-tick damage deals a minimum of 5 - 38.53 (based on level) and is capped at 10 - 54.71 (based on level).

The storm grants sight of its surroundings and prioritizes following the last enemy Udyr attacked while it was active, then enemy champions, then non-champions, then Udyr. The storm can only follow sight enemies.

We want both Q-max and R-max Udyr to be viable builds, but right now they're quite far apart in power. Similarly, maxing W or E second should also be comparable but regardless of build, W is weaker. We'd like to rectify both of these issues by improving the rank-up incentives of both Q and W without giving too much burst damage to AD Udyr and without giving him too much sustain to ignore his lane opponents.

  • Recast - Awaken: Udyr increases the shield strength to 20 to 150 (based on level) (+ 45/60/75/90/105/120) (+ 65% AP) (+ 8% maximum health) (stacking with the remaining shield from the first cast), and heal every 0.25 seconds over the next 4 seconds, for a total of 10 to 75 (based on level) (+ 22.5/30/37.5/45/52.5/60) (+ 32.5% AP) (+ 4% maximum health), as well as causes the empowered attacks to instead gain 30% life steal and grant doubled heal.

  • Additionally, Udyr summons a blizzard around himself for 4 seconds that deals 10/19/28/37/46/55 (+ 20% AP) magic damage every 0.5 seconds to nearby enemies and slow them. Minions take 50/60/70/80% damage.
  • Recast - Awaken: Udyr ends the blizzard if it is active and unleashes a glacial storm for 4 seconds that is able to move on its own. The storm follows the closest nearby sight target and applies the same effects but deals bonus magic damage equal to 1 to 2% (based on level) (+ 0.4375% per 100 AP) of the target's maximum health per tick, capped at 10 to 50 (based on level) against monsters, and slow by an additional 10%.
  • The unleashed storm grants sight of its surroundings and prioritizes following the last enemy Udyr has attacked while he is nearby, then enemy champions, then non-champions, then Udyr.

Monkey's Agility (Innate)

  • Entering a stance grants Udyr a temporary buff that increases his attack speed by 12% and dodge chance by 6%. This effect can stack.

Tiger Stance (Q)

  • Active: Udyr's next attack will deal a high amount of damage over 2 seconds (based on his attack damage).
  • Persistent effect: Udyr's attack speed is passively increased. In addition, Udyr splits his attacks into 3 lightning fast hits. On hit effects only trigger off the first hit.

Turtle Stance (W)

  • Active: Udyr gains a temporary shield that absorbs damage.
  • Persistent effect: Udyr's attacks cannot crit, but restore health and mana equivalent to a percentage of damage dealt.

Bear Stance (E)

  • Active: Udyr gains a large movement speed increase for a short duration.
  • Persistent effect: Udyr's attacks stun his target for 1 second. This effect cannot occur on the same target for several seconds.

Phoenix Stance (R)

  • Active: Udyr sends out pulsing waves of fire dealing damage to nearby foes for 5 seconds.
  • Persistent effect: Every third attack, Udyr engulfs enemies in front him in flame.
