Olaf top is fine but he's lagging behind in the jungle. As such, we're improving his clear, making his ganking stronger and leaning into his identity as a risky, low health fighter. We hope to keep top lane in a fairly stable place while boosting his jungle performance.

Stats

  • Base attack speed increased to 0.72 from 0.694.

  • Undocumented: Base damage increased to 70/120/170/220/270 from 60/110/160/210/260.
  • Undocumented: Bonus monster damage increased to 20/35/50/65/80 from 10/25/40/55/70.
  • Undocumented: Total monster damage increased to 90/155/220/285/350 from 70/135/200/265/330.
  • Slow increased to 30/35/40/45/50% from 25/30/35/40/45%.
  • Slow duration changed to 1 to 3 (based on distance traveled) seconds from 1.5 to 2.5 (based on distance traveled).
  • Bug Fix: Enemies only struck by the Lollipop at the end of the Q are now slowed for the proper amount of time (was a fixed 30% slow).

Tough It Out

  • Bug Fix: If you cast W while the previous cast was still active, it now properly re-applies its effects rather than just refreshing the prior cast (you get the attack reset and the AS value is updated).

Reckless Swing

  • Health cost increased to 40% of damage from 30%.
  • Base health cost increased to 28/46/64/82/100 from 21/34.5/48/61.5/75.
  • Health cost AD ratio increased to 20% AD from 15% AD.

Undertow

  • New Effect: Now reduces the armor of enemy champions hit by 20/22.5/25/27.5/30% for 4 seconds.
  • New Effect: Picking up the axe now sets Undertow's current cooldown to 3 seconds if it is not already below that amount. This is affected by ability haste.
  • Removed: No longer reduces Undertow's cooldown by 4.5 seconds when picking up the axe.
  • Base damage reduced to 60/110/160/210/260 from 80/125/170/215/260.
  • Minimum cast range increased to 425 units from 300.
  • Mana cost reduced to 40/45/50/55/60 from 60 at all ranks.
  • Cooldown increased to 9 seconds from 7.
  • Now grants ghosting more consistently to jungle monsters that are hit or are nearby when cast.

Tough It Out

  • Renamed to Tough It Out from Vicious Strikes.
  • New Effect: Now grants a 10/45/80/115/150 (+ 25% missing health) shield for 2.5 seconds, health ratio capped at 70% of his missing health.
  • New Effect: Gaining the attack speed buff now basic attack reset Olaf's basic attack timer.
  • Removed: No longer grants 16/18/20/22/24% life steal.
  • Removed: Healing is no longer increased by 0 to 33% (based on missing health).
  • Bonus attack speed reduced to 40/50/60/70/80% from 50/60/70/80/90%.

  • Olaf attacks with such force that it deals true damage to his target and himself.

  • Olaf is immune to disables, has increased armor penetration and reduces incoming damage by a flat amount.
