Ashe’s passive has long suffered from clarity issues. Its damage was hard to gauge in the early game, and even at 100% crit chance, it failed to trigger bonus effects unless the target was slowed. To improve clarity and consistency, we’ve reworked her passive. Additionally, her first ability often posed a dilemma on when to cast, creating unnecessary pressure when in frosty situations. So, we’re restructuring its activation and effect: now, once Ashe builds up enough stacks, she can freely unleash a flurry of arrows, no guesswork required.

Frost Shot

  • New effect: Bonus damage no longer requires target to be slowed.

Ranger's Focus

  • Cooldown reduced from 7/6/5/4 seconds to 0 at all ranks.
  • Stack limit reduced from 6 to 4.
  • Removed: No longer starts at 2 stacks.
  • New effect: Now also costs 4 stacks to cast.
  • New effect: Bonus attack speed is granted for 6 seconds instead of consuming stacks on-attack.

Varus is currently overperforming when synergizing with certain items—his passive's attack speed scaling often overflows, limiting viable build paths, and his high mixed burst damage makes him difficult to counter. Therefore, we’re aiming to bring him back toward a more traditional marksman role while maintaining multiple viable playstyles.

Living Vengeance

  • Bonus attack speed reduced from 30% to 10/15/20% (at level 1/6/9).
  • Duration increased from 5/6/7/8 seconds to 5/7/9/11 (at level 1/9/13/15).
  • New effect: Varus will also gain bonus attack damage and ability power equal to 15% of his bonus attack speed, increased to 30% against a champion.

Piercing Arrow

  • Base damage increased from 20/70/120/170 to 70/130/190/250.
  • AD ratio increased from 125% AD at all ranks to 100/110/120/130%.

Blighted Quiver

  • On-hit base damage increased from 12/16/20/24 to 15/23/31/39.
  • On-hit AP ratio increased from 20% AP to 35%.
  • Blight health ratio reduced from 5/5.5/6/6.5% target's maximum health to 3.5/4/4.5/5%.
  • Blight AP health ratio increased from 1% target's maximum health per 100 AP to 1.5%.
  • Piercing Arrow health ratio reduced from 8 to 15% (based on level) target's missing health to 6 to 9% (based on level).
  • Charged damage amplification reduced from 0 to 100% (based on Piercing Arrow's charge time) to 0 to 50% (based on Piercing Arrow's charge time).
  • New effect: Each stack consumed against a champion or epic monster reduces the remaining cooldowns of basic abilities by 13% total cooldown, up to a 39% cooldown reduction per target.
  • New effect: Damage against monsters is capped at 120 per stack, up to 360 at maximum stacks.

Vayne’s second ability was overly strong against high-health champions in the early stages of the game (looking at you, top lane Vayne). To address this, we’ve adjusted the mechanics of her second ability, making its activation less punishing and more forgiving in terms of timing.

Silver Bolts

  • Bonus attack speed reduced from 40/45/50/55% to 15/20/25/30%.
  • Removed: No longer heals for the damage dealt by Silver Bolts.
  • New effect: Vayne gains 10% omnivamp for the duration.
Zeri Wild Rift Patch NotesWRZeriChange

Zeri has been underperforming recently, so we’ve reworked her kit to zap her gameplay back to life. Previously, her strength has been heavily tied to specific enchanter supports, forcing our balance decisions around those pairings. We want her to perform consistently well with a wider range of support partners, so we’ve removed her shield-based interactions and shifted the former first ability passive into her base passive. To enhance the impact of her ultimate, she can now extend its duration by attacking enemies and chaining lightning through Overcharge’s splash effect. We’ve also adjusted the crit scaling and damage structure across her abilities, which are currently undertuned, to ensure healthier and more reliable performance overall.

Living Battery

  • New: The description of Burst Fire.
  • Old: Zeri shields herself equal to 60% of the post-mitigation damage dealt against shields. Each instance of shield lasts for 3 seconds, granting her 15% bonus movement speed while it holds.

Electrocute!

  • Slow strength now decays over the duration.
  • Removed: No longer details Burst Fire. See notes on Living Battery.
  • New effect: If this kills an enemy, it refunds 50% cooldown and 100% mana cost.

Ultrashock Laser

  • Damage type changed from magic to physical.

Spark Surge

  • Damage against subsequent targets increased from 50/65/80/95% to 80/85/90/95%.
  • On-hit cooldown reduction reduced from 1 second to 0.5.
  • New effect: Critical strikes increase the on-hit cooldown reduction to 1.5 seconds.
  • New effect: The empowered attack deals 20/23/26/29 (+ 10% bonus AD) (+ 20% AP) magic damage to the first enemy hit.

Lightning Crash

  • Duration reduced from 10 seconds to 5.
  • Bonus attack speed increased from 25% to 30%.
  • Chain lightning physical damage increased from 20% modified damage to 25%.
  • Removed: Targets hit by chain lightning will not be dealt bonus magic damage.
  • Removed: No longer generates 8 stacks upon hitting a champion.
  • Removed: No longer extends the duration upon champion takedown.
  • Stack duration reduced from Overcharge duration to 1.5 seconds.
  • New effect: Zeri gains 10% bonus movement speed during Overcharge.
  • New effect: Critical strikes generate 3 stacks.
  • New effect: Generating stacks will also extend Overcharge duration by 1.5 seconds.

  • Old: You gain the Dream Bubbles buff every 8 seconds. Granting an active heal or shield to another allied champion will send Dream Bubbles to them for 3 seconds, which reduces the next instance of incoming non-minion damage by 70 to 140 (based on your level), and enhances their next basic attack to deal 20 to 90 (based on your level) bonus magic damage on-hit.
