SMITE
- Smite will prioritize epic monsters while casted by a quick swip/flick.
Patch 3.3b
nerfExhaust has been the best spell to pick-up for defensive, offensive, and supportive uses especially since the last buffs we made to it. We want to ensure that it's still the best option for defense and peeling, but we’re reducing its range to make it less effective as a chasing tool.

Patch 2.5
buffWe’re making Flash interact more consistently with non-ultimate ‘skillshot’ dash abilities (dashes that don’t home in on a target). In Patch 2.5, Flash will cancel many dash abilities but still activate or bring their effects to the flashed location (e.g. Flashing during Riven’s third cast of Broken Wings will apply the knockup at the new location).
Flash
- New Effect: Flashing during a skillshot dash now applies the dash's damage or effects at the flashed location, instead of completely canceling the ability and its effects.

changeGeneral
- New effect: Added duration indicator for spells like Barrier and Ghost.
Smite
- Passive - Hunting License
- Added the Hunter's Duty buff indicator to indicate Hunting License minion penalty.
Patch 1.1
buffWe’re all for wild, creative strategies, but taking Smite as a laner is something we’d like to discourage for the health of the game (it skews the jungle meta and can lead to less interactive laning). For those reasons, Smite now reduces XP gained from killing minions by 20% for the first 5 minutes of the game.
Smite
- New effect: Smite is put on a 10 second cooldown at game start.
