Ashe was last buffed in Patch 7.0c (). Across 18 patches, Ashe has received 10 buffs, 5 nerfs, 3 adjustments since release in Patch 1.1.

Abilities
Frost ShotWR
Passive - Frost Shot

Innate: Ashe's basic attacks and abilities inflict Frost to enemies hit, slowing them by 15 for 2 seconds. Her basic attacks also deal bonus physical damage equal to 10% (+ of critical strike chance). Critical strikes do not deal any additional damage.

Innate - Critical Slow: Critical strikes increase the slow to 40, decaying over 1 second to normal strength.

Ranger's FocusWR
Ability 1 - Ranger's Focus
Cost: 50 Mana + 4 Focus
Cast Time: None

Passive: While Ranger's Focus is inactive, Ashe's basic attacks on-attack generate a stack of Focus for 4 seconds, refreshing on subsequent attacks and stacking up to 4 times. After the duration, the stacks expire by one every 2 seconds.

Bonus Attack Speed: 20 / 30 / 40 / 50%
Total Damage Per Flurry: 115 / 120 / 125 / 130% AD
Physical Damage Per Arrow: 23 / 24 / 25 / 26% AD

Active: For 6 seconds, Ashe gains bonus attack speed and augments her basic attacks to fire a flurry of five arrows. Each arrow deals modified physical damage. Flurries apply on-hit effects only once.

Ranger's Focus resets Ashe's basic attack timer.

Active: Ashe shoots arrows in a cone in the target direction, each dealing physical damage to the first enemy hit, and applying Frost Shot to enemy champions hit.

Enemies can intercept multiple arrows but take damage from only one.

Effect Radius: 1000

Active: Ashe sends a hawk spirit in the target direction that exposes sight of the area along its path for effectively up-to 1.8 seconds at any location.

Recast: The spirit detonates to light the area for 5 seconds; revealing nearby enemies, wards, and stealthed traps.

Ability 4 - Enchanted Crystal Arrow

Effect Radius: centered range 400 / 350

Active: Ashe shoots a crystal arrow in the target direction that grants sight of the area it flies through each for 1 second. The arrow shatters upon hitting an enemy champion, stunning them for 1.5 to 3.5 (based on distance) seconds and dealing magic damage to nearby enemies.

Magic Damage: 200 / 350 / 500 (+ 40% AP)

Recast - Hold: Ashe can steer the arrow within a limited angle, and can still move during this time.

In this update, marksmen as a whole received buffs from items, but we also noticed that Ashe has been underperforming in recent versions, so we’re increasing her power to help her catch up with the rest.

Stats

  • Base health increased from 600 to 630.

Ashe’s passive has long suffered from clarity issues. Its damage was hard to gauge in the early game, and even at 100% crit chance, it failed to trigger bonus effects unless the target was slowed. To improve clarity and consistency, we’ve reworked her passive. Additionally, her first ability often posed a dilemma on when to cast, creating unnecessary pressure when in frosty situations. So, we’re restructuring its activation and effect: now, once Ashe builds up enough stacks, she can freely unleash a flurry of arrows, no guesswork required.

Frost Shot

  • New effect: Bonus damage no longer requires target to be slowed.

Ranger's Focus

  • Cooldown reduced from 7/6/5/4 seconds to 0 at all ranks.
  • Stack limit reduced from 6 to 4.
  • Removed: No longer starts at 2 stacks.
  • New effect: Now also costs 4 stacks to cast.
  • New effect: Bonus attack speed is granted for 6 seconds instead of consuming stacks on-attack.
Patch 6.0Buff

Stats

  • Base health increased from 570 to 600.
  • Armor growth increased from 3.9 to 4.5.
  • Health growth increased from 115 to 128.
  • Magic resistance growth increased from 0.8 to 1.4.

The recent item changes have worked well in Ashe’s favor. These adjustments will make sure she's still in line with other Marksmen.

Ranger's Focus

  • Physical damage per arrow reduced from 24/25/26/27% AD to 23/24/25/26%.
  • Total damage per flurry reduced from 120/125/130/135% AD to 115/120/125/130%.

Ashe is another marksman whose arrows have been falling a bit short in the Dragon Lane. With these changes, she will be able to strike her opponents right where it hurts.

Our favorite frosty marksman has been frostbitten and stuck as a Baron Laner or support. So we’re honing her arrows and making some adjustments to her so that she can better fulfill her role as the chilling harbinger of damage in the Dragon Lane.

  • Slow reduced from 20 to 30% (based on level) to 15 to 25% (based on level).
  • Critical slow unchanged.

  • Cooldown increased from 15/12/9/6 seconds to 16/13.5/11/8.5.
  • AD ratio increased from 100% AD to 115%.

Enchanted Crystal Arrow

  • Cooldown increased from 60/55/50 seconds to 70/60/50.
  • AP ratio reduced from 100% AP to 40%.

Support Ashe has been overperforming, so we’re shifting some of the power out of her Volley and into Ranger’s Focus. That way we can keep her role as a marksman on target.

Ashe has been quietly outperforming her fellow marksmen in the Dragon Lane for some time. While we like seeing her as a premier crowd control marksman, this Frost Queen has a bit too much poke, so we’re toning it down some.

Volley

  • AD ratio reduced from 110% AD to 100%.
Patch 2.6Buff

Ashe is still underperforming a bit in lane, so we’re bringing up her attack damage in the early game to better match other carries’ autoattacks.

Stats

  • Base attack damage increased from 52 to 58.
Patch 2.5Buff

Ashe's utility is not quite hitting the mark in general, so we're boosting the Frost Archer's passive slow to give her more room to kite her opponents and set up her allies.

  • Slow increased from 15 to 25% (based on level) to 20 to 30% (based on level).
  • Critical slow increased from 30 to 50% (based on level) to 40 to 60% (based on level).
Patch 2.4Buff

Ashe has been slightly underperforming, so we are looking to give her some quality-of-life buffs that strengthen her identity as a utility marksman.

Hawkshot

  • Enemy reveal duration increased from 3 seconds to 5.

Enchanted Crystal Arrow

  • Manual turn speed per second increased from 38° to 45°.

Compared to her PC counterpart, Wild Rift’s Ashe has way fewer arrows going BRRRR, so we’re giving her a way to keep up with more Volleys.

  • Cooldown reduced from 14/11/8/5 seconds to 13/10/7/4.

For an ability that already requires attacks to be cast at full potential, (1) Ranger’s Focus felt a little bit too gated. Removing some of the cooldown to help improve the flow of using this ability.
