  • New effect: The first Hand of Baron granted will have the duration reduced from 120 seconds to 90.

Patch 6.0d

nerf

When Baron Nashor is defeated early in the game, the buff it grants to minions has been too difficult for some champions to deal with. So, we’re adjusting its effectiveness to make early Baron sieging more manageable.

Hand of Baron

  • Minion incoming damage reduction against champions reduced from 60% to 50%~60%.

  • Damage reduction of empowered minions from enemy champions: 60% → 50%~60%

  • New effect: While T-Hex Mecha is active, all minions will become empowered by Hand of Baron, with the effect strength based on game time.
  • Allied minion incoming damage reduction against champions reduced from 60-70% to 45-60%.
  • New effect: Allied minions gain 20% incoming damage reduction against enemy minions.

  • Bugfix: Fixed an issue where the end of the laser cannot attack minions.
  • New effect: Turret fury consumption will now stop when the target turret is destroyed.
  • Removed: Fury is no longer consumed when moving and attacking minions.
  • Hextech Mimic
  • Bugfix: Fixed an issue where the wrong model of Hextech Mimics may appear when entering a bush while it is hitting turrets.
  • Micro Mimics
  • Increased the pickup radius.
  • Trigger range against turrets increased from 800 to 900.

Hand of Baron

  • Reskinned all assets to Hextech theme.
  • Removed: No longer empowers nearby minions. This effect is enabled only for /T-Hex Mecha/.

  • Reskinned the icon and Spawn icon for Baron Nashor to Hextech theme.
  • Takedown Reward
  • Additionally, the T-Hex Mecha will spawn outside the fountain after 10 seconds, remaining for 120 seconds. You can collect it over 2 seconds to become T-Hex Mecha; see #Champions for details.
  • Replaced Rift Herald with a random choice of Hextech Guerrilla Turret or Hextech Mimic. These monsters can be summoned just like Rift Herald.
  • Hextech Guerilla Turret
  • Basic Attack: Single-target ranged attacks that cannot be dodged.
  • Apex Laser Cannon: Guerrilla Turret charges for a short period before firing a laser beam that deals physical damage to enemies in a line.
  • Imprecise Strike Missiles: Guerrilla Turret fires 6 cannonballs around the target's location, each dealing physical damage.
  • Takedown Reward
  • A trinket to summon Guerilla Turret.
  • Hextech Guerilla Turret (Summoned)
  • Guerrilla Turret will advance the lane and attack nearby enemies. It will prefer turrets over champions.
  • Guerrilla Turret spawns with 100 Fury, and dies when fury is depleted. Engaging turrets costs 6 fury every second, attacking enemies or being outside of combat consumes 1 fury every second.
  • Hextech Mimic
  • Basic Attack: Single-target attacks that cannot be dodged.
  • Mimic Leap: Mimic leaps up and slams onto the ground, knocking back and dealing physical damage to enemies while becoming stunned itself.
  • Mimic Charge: Mimic dashes forward, charging into enemies and dealing physical damage, repeating 3 times.
  • Takedown Reward
  • Gain 3 Micro Mimics that follow you around. Hextech Mimic Cores will spawn behind all of your outer turrets, they can be collected to grant 3 Micro Mimics. You cannot collect Mimic Cores while holding Micro Mimics. Cores and Micro Mimics remain for 4 minutes.
  • When you approach an enemy turret, the Micro Mimics will dash toward the turret and detonate themselves to deal damage to the turret.
  • Hextech Guerrilla Turret
  • Base attack damage increased from 150 to 185.

Once the laning phase ends there is usually a lull in the game, where you don’t have an objective to take down. So we’re making some adjustments to Baron and other systems so that the pace of the game will feel more frenetic and progressing into the mid-game will feel smoother.

  • Base health reduced from 11800 to 9000.
  • Health growth increased from 400 to 480.
  • Base attack damage reduced from 250 to 200.
  • Attack damage growth increased from 20 to 22.
  • Spawn time reduced from 13:00 elapse to 12:00.
  • Rift Herald
  • Despawn time increased from 11:00 elapse to 11:30.
  • In-combat despawn time at 11:50.
  • Kill gold reduced from 125 gold to 40 gold.
  • Assist gold increased from 0 gold to 40 gold.
  • Kill experience reduced from 3000 to 1500.
  • Charge turret base damage increased from 1500 to 2000.
  • Removed: Rift Herald no longer respawns.

Hand of Baron

  • Duration reduced from 120 seconds to 100.
  • New effect: After death, the buff will persist but will no longer empower nearby minions.

Baron Nashor

  • Base health: 11800 → 9000
  • Health per level: 400 → 480
  • Base Attack Damage: 250 → 200
  • Attack per level: 20 → 22
  • Spawn time: 13m → 12m
  • Hand of Baron (Baron Buff) duration: 120s → 100s
  • Hand of Baron no longer disappears for champions after they’ve been killed, but will no longer strengthen nearby minions upon respawn
