Vow of the First Lands - Innate

  • Innate: Yunara's critical strike deal 10% (+ 10% per 100 AP) bonus magic damage.

Cultivation of Spirit - Q

  • Passive: Yunara's basic attacks deal 5/10/15/20/25 (+ 20% AP) bonus magic damage on-hit. While this ability is inactive, her basic attacks on-attack generate a stack of Unleash for 6 seconds, increased to 2 stacks against champions. The stacks refresh on subsequent attacks, stack up to 8 times, and expire by one every 0.5 seconds after the duration.
  • Active: Yunara unleashes for 5 seconds: gaining 25/35/45/55/65% bonus attack speed, dealing 5/10/15/20/25 (+ 20% AP) additional bonus magic damage on-hit, and augmenting her basic attacks to fly faster, have a 40% lower attack windup time, and an uncancellable windup. Her basic attacks are also empowered to spread to each enemy near the target, dealing 30% AD physical damage.
  • Each spread attack life steal applies lifesteal and on-hit effects (30% for on-hit damage), and will critically strike if the triggering attack does. Spread attacks deal 250% damage against minions below 30% maximum health.
  • Cultivation of Spirit basic attack reset Yunara's basic attack timer. Targets do not have to be sight to be hit by this ability.
  • Cost: 30 mana + 8 Unleash Stacks.
  • Cast Time: None, Effect Radius: 300, Speed: 10000 / 2000, Queue Threshold: 0.05 seconds.

Arc of Judgment - W

  • Active: Yunara launches a spinning prayer bead in the target direction that briefly grants sight of its surroundings as it travels. The bead slows down significantly while colliding with an enemy, lingering as it travels and resetting its remaining duration; upon reaching maximum range, it will expand and linger in place for 1 second regardless of enemies hit.
  • The initial hit against each enemy before the bead's expansion deals 5/30/55/80/105 (+ 85% AD) (+ 50% AP) magic damage and slow them by 99% decaying over 1.5 seconds. While lingering, the bead deals 1.25/5/8.75/12.5/16.25 (+ 10% AD) (+ 6.25% AP) magic damage to nearby enemies every 0.25 seconds.
  • Arc of Judgment deals 50/75/100% (at level 1/9/13) damage against minions and execute them if they would be killed by 6 more damage instances from the linger effect.
  • Cost: 60 mana.
  • Cooldown: 10 seconds.
  • Cast Time: 0.45 to 0.225 (based on bonus attack speed), Effect Radius: 150, Range: 1150, Width: 120, Speed: 1150.
  • While under the effects of Transcend One's Self, this ability becomes Arc of Ruin:
  • Active: Yunara fires a beam of spirit magic in the target direction that deals 50/200/350 (based on Transcend One's Self's Rank) (+ 175% AD) (+ 75% AP) magic damage to enemies hit and slow them by 99% decaying over 1 second, as well as granting sight of the surrounding area.
  • This ability benefits from ultimate ability effects and is the upgraded version of Arc of Judgment during Transcend One's Self.
  • Cooldown: 10 seconds.
  • Cast Time: 0.6 to 0.45 (based on bonus attack speed), Range: 1150, Width: 120.

Kanmei's Steps - E

  • Active: Yunara becomes ghosted and gains 50/55/60/65/70% bonus movement speed decaying over 1.5/1.75/2/2.25/2.5 seconds. The movement speed is 50% more effective while facing a nearby sight enemy champion.
  • Cost: 40 mana.
  • Cooldown: 7.5 seconds (starts on cast).
  • Cast Time: None, Effect Radius: 2000, Queue Threshold: 0.05 seconds.
  • While under the effects of Transcend One's Self, this ability becomes Untouchable Shadow:
  • Active: Yunara dashes in the target direction.
  • Untouchable Shadow basic attack reset Yunara's basic attack timer. Arc of Ruin can be cast during the dash. This ability benefits from ultimate ability effects and is the upgraded version of Kanmei's Steps during Transcend One's Self.
  • Cooldown: 7.5 seconds.
  • Cast Time: None, Target Range: 225 – 450 / 550, Speed: 1350/1500/1650 (based on Transcend One's Self's Rank), Queue Threshold: 0.05 seconds.

Transcend One's Self - R

  • Passive: Arc of Ruin base damage and Untouchable Shadow dash speed scale with Transcend One's Self's rank.
  • Active: Yunara enters Transcendent State for 15 seconds, during which each of her basic abilities is empowered:
  • Cultivation of Spirit: Automatically becomes active at no cost, with the duration increased to Transcendent State's.
  • Arc of Judgment: Upgraded into Arc of Ruin, which has no cost and has its remaining cooldown reduced by 80% upon both entering and exiting the state.
  • Kanmei's Steps: Upgraded into Untouchable Shadow, which has no cost and has its cooldown reset upon both entering and exiting the state.
  • Cost: 100 mana.
  • Cooldown: 100/90/80 seconds.
  • Cast Time: None.

Bel'Veth has some extreme extremes when it comes to attacking quickly, we want her to still maintain some of this while bringing it down slightly. Our hope with this is that Bel'Veth can remain strong when her ultimate is active, while also being a bit more restrained when it's not. Previously, we tried her "start with Ultimate" active, but we lost the excitement that comes with her ultimate and removed too much of its identity, and came with too much reliable power if she made it past the mid game.

Skaarl the Cowardly Lizard

  • New Effect: Remount health is now granted instantly upon beginning to remount, rather than after 0.5 seconds.
  • New Effect: Kled now gains bonus armor and bonus magic resistance equal to 1% of bonus health, increased by 20% per nearby enemy champion within 1400 units, up to a maximum of 2% bonus health.
  • Courage from minion kills increased to 5 from 4.
  • Removed: Champion takedowns within 3 seconds of damaging them no longer grants 20 Courage.
  • Dismounted attack damage penalty reduced to 15/10/5/0% (at level 1/6/11/16) from 20% at all levels.
  • Dismounted movement speed penalty reduced to 40 from 60.
  • Dismounted bonus movement speed toward champions reduced to 70 to 155 (based on level) from 100 to 185 (based on level).
  • Dismounted bonus movement speed range increased to 1200 units from 1000.
  • Skaarl base health reduced to 400 to 1400 (based on level) from 400 to 1550 (based on level). Now uses stat growth instead of linear growth.
  • Remount health reduced to 40/50/60/70% of Skaarl's maximum health from 45/55/65/75%.
  • New Effect: Granted bonus movement speed while dismounted now updates on level-up.
  • Bug Fix: Additional instances of damage applied by a spell that causes the dismount are now properly ignored upon dismounting instead of unintentionally affecting Kled.
  • Bug Fix: Dismount dash and its accompanying lockout are now exactly 0.5 seconds instead of lasting up to 0.25 seconds more based on engine ticks (they are no longer "fuzzy").
  • Bug Fix: Allied projectiles are no longer destroyed by the untargetability while dismounting.
  • Bug Fix: Courage bar now always turns yellow when equal to or above 50 Courage instead of only when at 50–59 Courage.
  • Bug Fix: Kled's health no longer sometimes shows an incorrect amount after remounting.
  • Bug Fix: Taking fatal damage while affected by Bailout no longer breaks Kled's health bar for the rest of the game.
  • Bug Fix: Skaarl's health is no longer unintentionally displayed while only Kled is affected by the protection of Bailout after taking fatal damage.
  • Bug Fix: Wild Growth no longer grants Kled more health than the intended health bonus based on Skaarl's base health.
  • Bug Fix: Health regeneration is now properly calculated upon remounting and no longer uses incorrect numbers for up to 0.25 seconds after remounting (it is no longer "fuzzy").
  • Bug Fix: No longer unintentionally loses a minuscule amount of attack damage while dismounted.

Bear Trap on a Rope

  • Tether bonus AD ratio reduced to 60% bonus AD from 65%.
  • Removed: No longer applies Grievous Wounds for 5 seconds after successfully pulling the target.
  • Slow reduced to 30/35/40/45/50% from 40/45/50/55/60%.
  • Slow duration increased to 2.5 seconds from 1.5.
  • New Effect: Damage calculations now update again for the pull instead of using the values at the time of the tether connecting.
  • New Effect: Now checks for enemy units within a 60-unit radius from the projectile's origin point, prioritizing the closest unit that can be affected by the tether.
  • Bug Fix: Pull timer is now exactly 1.75 seconds instead of lasting slightly longer.

Pocket Pistol

  • Recharge timer changed to 18/16/14/12/10 seconds from 20 to 7.25 (based on level).
  • Bonus AD ratio reduced to 65% bonus AD from 80%.
  • New Effect: Now checks for enemy champions within a 55-unit radius from the projectiles' origin point.
  • New Effect: Now deals spell damage instead of area damage against champion targets.

Violent Tendencies

  • Cooldown increased to 13/12/11/10/9 seconds from 11/9.5/8/6.5/5.
  • New Effect: Basic attacks now reduces its cooldown by 1.5 seconds, reduced to 0.5 against non-champions.
  • Bonus AD ratio reduced to 2% per 100 bonus AD from 5%.
  • New Effect: Now scales with 0.4% per 100 bonus health.
  • New Effect: Attacking wards now maintains bonus attack speed rather than consuming the effect.
  • Bug Fix: While dismounted, the fourth attack is no longer invalidated by silence and forced action effects.

Jousting

  • Bonus AD ratio reduced to 55% bonus AD from 65%.
  • New Effect: Recast timer is now tracked on the ability's icon in the HUD.
  • New Effect: Recast now has a range indicator.
  • Bug Fix: No longer is able to hit units twice when they re-enter its area check during the dash.

Chaaaaaaaarge!!!

  • Damage type changed to magic from physical.
  • Minimum base damage increased to 4/6/8% of target's maximum health from 4/5/6%.
  • Maximum base damage increased to 12/18/24% of target's maximum health from 12/15/18%
  • Minimum damage bonus AD ratio reduced to 3% per 100 bonus AD from 4%.
  • Maximum damage bonus AD ratio reduced to 9% per 100 bonus AD from 12%.
  • Increased the cadence of checking for valid targets.
  • New Effect: Pinging the ability now shows targets within range in chat.
  • Bug Fix: CC-immunity is no longer unintentionally removed at the end point of the charge shortly before the dash to a target begins.
  • Bug Fix: No longer causes Kled to sometimes lose Elixir of Iron trail.
  • Rescripted the check for valid targets at the start of cast.

Items

Blade of the Ruined King has fallen out of favor recently. Meanwhile, there has been a rise in popularity of health stacking within the game, which means BoRK should be a more popular pick up. To help it get back on everyone's radar we're buffing the % health damage this item provides which is the item's biggest selling point and fantasy.

General

  • Mist's Edge damage increased to 9% of target's current health from 8%.
Kraken Slayer LoL ItemPCKraken SlayerBuff

Kraken Slayer is an overall weak item right now, both for melee and ranged users. As such, we're looking to buff it equally by making it a faster early spike and playing up its unique difference with Blade of the Ruined King, namely making it deliver more damage to low-health enemies.

  • Total cost reduced to 3000 gold from 3100 gold.
  • Combine cost reduced to 325 gold from 425 gold.

Now that the Rod of Ages craze has passed (what a great time it was), it's time for us to re-investigate how this item is performing. Ultimately, we'd like it if it was clearly good for the really mana-hungry champions out there who need to stack as many resources as possible. As such, we're playing up its scaling and mana-stacking power to make it great on that unique set of champions.

Haunting Guise stacking goes against what we typically want out of our item system, namely that builds should have peaks and valleys where there's room to beat someone on a weaker spike. As this item's passive stacks (and it's intended for the upgraded versions to do so), we're locking players out from building more than one at a time, as the amount of early health that Haunting Guise stacking provides ends up making champions unassailable.
