Orianna has been one of the strongest champions in the mid lane as of late, so strong that she’s head and shoulders above the rest of the competition. In the hands of a true expert, her laning phase can feel unassailable, so we’re focusing on her early game in the hope of opening up some weaknesses and making some space for other champions in the mid lane.
Command: Attack
- Cooldown increased to 7/6/5/4/3 seconds from 6/5.25/4.5/3.75/3.
At higher skill levels Orianna's early wave clear is far too safe and her optimized builds make her too tanky for her to be exposed to any real risks, so we're looking to re-introduce some risk to her overall kit. We want to incentivize Orianna to build more damage and less tank, so we're weakening her early wave clear power spikes so she has to pick up more AP to clear waves, something most players are already doing and thus shouldn't be impacted much by.
Command: Dissonance
- Base damage reduced to 70/110/150/190/230 from 70/120/170/220/270.
- AP ratio increased to 80% AP from 70% AP.
We're looking to revert some extra power that Orianna has in Arena, nothing major but it should reduce some hidden damage she has laying around.
