Taliyah was last adjusted in Patch 26.5 (). Across 56 patches, Taliyah has received 8 buffs, 15 nerfs, 32 adjustments since release in Patch 6.10.

Rock SurfingPC
Passive - Rock Surfing

Innate: While near terrain, Taliyah gains 10 / 15 / 25 / 40% bonus movement speed, which builds up over 1 second while in range for at least 0.4 seconds, and decays at the same rate once out of range for at least 3 seconds.

If Taliyah is casting an ability or enters champion combat, Rock Surfing cannot occur again for a few seconds.

Active: Taliyah barrages 5 Stone Shards in the target direction over 1.5 seconds that each shatter upon the first enemy hit, dealing magic damage to nearby enemies and standard sight them for 0.5 seconds. Subsequent hits deal 40% damage.

Taliyah can move and cast other abilities while launching Stone Shards, and is unable to basic attack until she launches the third Stone Shard.

Casting Threaded Volley creates an area of Worked Ground at Taliyah's cast location that has a radius of 400 units and lasts 30 seconds. While Taliyah is within an area of Worked Ground, Threaded Volley's cast consumes the area to become empowered with a new effect, costing 10 mana and having 50% reduced cooldown, though not below 0.75 seconds.

Empowered Active: Taliyah hurls a Boulder that explodes upon the first enemy hit, dealing 180% damage to them and normal damage to nearby enemies, slow all targets hit for 1.5 seconds, and standard sight them for 0.5 seconds. Monsters hit are also stun for 3 seconds.

Against monsters, Threaded Volley deals bonus magic damage per Stone Shard, and the Boulder from the empowered cast deals 80% bonus damage against the primary target. This bonus damage is unaffected by the damage modifier from subsequent hits.

Active: Taliyah scatters a field of 22 stones across the ground in the target direction that deals magic damage to enemies hit while they erupt. The stones then remain for 4 seconds and slow enemies within the area by 20%.

Enemies that dash or are airborne over a stone will detonate it, taking magic damage and becoming stun for 0.75 seconds, increased to 2 seconds if they are a monster. The stun is applied once the displacement ends.

An enemy can detonate up to 4 stones, but the damage is reduced by 0% / 25% / 50% / 75% . Unraveled Earth can affect targets only once per cast; the stones will still detonate but not apply their effects.

Unraveled Earth deals 225% damage against monsters.

Active: Taliyah summons a torrent of spiraling rocks that cascades in the target direction, airborne champions hit and erecting a wall of terrain in its wake. The wall lasts for 4 seconds after completion, then slowly disintegrates from its starting point.

Taliyah also channels for 1 second, during which Weaver's Wall can be recast and she sight herself.

Recast: Upon completing the channel, Taliyah dash on the wall as it emerges, sight herself in the process. After 0.75 seconds, she may input a movement command to dash off the wall to the target location, and automatically does so upon being immobilize or silence or reaching maximum range. Once the wall has fully formed, Taliyah can recast to destroy the wall instantly.

Weaver's Wall is placed on a 3-second static cooldown upon taking champion or turret damage.

Taliyah’s powerful wave control in the early game means she consistently gets to be the first mid laner to every scuttle fight which can make it difficult to prioritize other picks over her. We’d like for this to not be as reliable a game plan as it currently is, so we’re bringing her early push power down and compensating jungle Taliyah with a bit more bonus damage to monsters.

Taliyah’s been missing from the jungle as of late and the gameplay changes for the new season didn’t help her, quite the opposite actually. To that end we want to get her rocking and rolling in the jungle again so we’re buffing up her mid game clear speed to help her out.

Unraveled Earth

  • New Effect: Detonating boulders now stun enemies that dash or are airborne through them for 2 seconds, with the duration being set to 0.6/0.7/0.8/0.9/1 seconds after the dash or displacement ends. This may only affect targets once per cast of Unraveled Earth. The duration is not set against monsters.
  • Base slow strength increased to 20/22/24/26/28% from 20% at all ranks.
  • Removed: Slow strength no longer scales with 4% per 100 AP.
  • Initial base damage increased to 60/105/150/195/240 from 50/75/100/125/150.
  • Initial AP ratio increased to 60% AP from 40% AP.
  • Removed: No longer deals its initial damage again at the end of the duration.

Weaver's Wall

  • Range changed to 2500/4500/6500 units from 3000/4500/6000.
  • Removed: Taking champion or turret damage while surfing no longer forces her to jump off of the wall.
  • Removed: Taking champion or turret damage during the channel no longer prevents her from initiating the surf once it completes.
  • New Effect: Is now placed on a 3-second cooldown upon taking champion or turret damage.
  • New Effect: Inputting a movement command during the surf now causes Taliyah to jump off towards that location, instead of doing so perpendicularly from the wall.
  • New Effect: Jump off dash distance can now be extended to up to 1000 units when the targeted location is over terrain.
  • Jump off dash distance increased to 700 units from 400.
  • Jump off dash speed increased to 1200 from 1000.

Rock Surfing - Innate

  • When out of combat, Taliyah builds movement speed whenever traveling near walls.

Threaded Volley - Q

  • Passive: Taliyah gains increased movement speed when traversing worked ground.
  • Active: Taliyah rips up the ground around her, firing a volley of five stone shards in a target direction while moving freely. Casting Threaded Volley converts the area into worked ground for a few minutes. Additional Threaded Volley casts over worked ground will yield just one rock projectile, but will refund half the mana used.

Seismic Shove - W

  • Taliyah marks a target location. After a brief delay, the ground erupts, knocking up and damaging all enemies caught in the blast zone. Taliyah can recast Seismic Shove before it erupts to throw the victims in any targeted direction—even over walls.

Unraveled Earth - E

  • Taliyah scatters boulders onto the ground before her. Opponents who dash through the fractured earth take damage from an explosion. After a few seconds, any remaining rocks in the field erupt, dealing a second wave of damage.

Weaver's Wall - R

  • Taliyah briefly channels before summoning a massive wall of spiraling rock that tears through the Rift in a target direction.
