Passive - Cosmic Creator

Innate: Aurelion Sol's damaging abilities against enemies generate him permanent stacks of Stardust, which gradually augments his abilities. * Breath of Light: Bursts deal bonus magic damage based on the target's maximum health. * Astral Flight: Range is increased by 62.5% per 100 Stardust. * Singularity: Radius is increased by 15% per 100 Stardust, and execution threshold is increased. * Falling Star / The Skies Descend: Impact radius is increased by 15% per 100 Stardust.

Range: 750 - 848 (based on level)

Active: Aurelion Sol charges for up to 3.25 seconds to exhale a beam of starfire that he can steer in the target direction. The beam collides with the first enemy hit to reveal them and deal magic damage every 0.2 seconds, reduced to 50% for surrounding enemies.

Magic Damage per Tick: 0.5 to 7.5 for 15 0 (+ 12% AP)
Magic Damage per second: 2.5 - 37.5 (based on level) 0 (+ 60% AP)
Bonus Magic Damage: 15 0 (+ 35% AP) ((+ 3% per Cosmic Creator 100 Stardust) target's maximum health)

For every full second damaging the same enemy, the beam deals a burst of bonus magic damage to them, and also generates 1 Stardust against a champion. The damage based on the target's health ratio is capped at 100 against monsters.

Breath of Light can be recast within the duration, and does so automatically afterwards.

Recast: Aurelion Sol ends Breath of Light. If he charged less than 0.25 seconds, it will incur a 1-second static cooldown.

Breath of Light deals 40% damage against monsters. At rank 4, Breath of Light's channel duration lasts indefinitely.

Passive: Scoring a champion takedown within 3 seconds of damaging them will refund 90% of the total cooldown.

Breath of Light Flat Damage Modifier: 15 / 20 / 25 / 30%

Active: Aurelion Sol dashes in the target direction and resets Breath of Light cooldown. During flight, he has unobstructed vision and Breath of Light has no cooldown and maximum channel duration, and its flat damage is increased. Astral Flight's dash speed is reduced by 50% while channelling.

Aurelion Sol will be knocked down by any immobilizing crowd control during the dash.

Astral Flight can be recast after 0.5 seconds during the dash, and does so automatically upon arrival.

Recast: Aurelion Sol ends Astral Flight. Aurelion Sol will not dash if he is immobilized or grounded during the cast time. He can cast abilities during the dash. Breath of Light channel will be interrupted if Astral Flight ends or Singularity is cast during the flight, but the ability will automatically be cast afterwards.

Active: Aurelion Sol conjures a black hole at the target location after a 0.5 -second delay that lasts for 5 seconds, granting sight of the area and dealing magic damage every 0.2 seconds to enemies within.

Enemies in the black hole are dragged inward until they reach the center, and non-champions also have their movement speed reduced to 0. Enemies within the center below 5% (+ 2.1% per Cosmic Creator 100 Stardust) of their maximum health are executed, excluding epic monsters.

After Singularity ends, it generates 2 Stardust for every full second that each enemy champion was within, as well as varying amounts for enemies slain within: * Champions, monsters, and large minions grant 5 Stardust. * Small minions and monsters grant 1 Stardust.

Passive: Gathering 65 Stardust will transform the next cast into The Skies Descend, empowering the ability with new effects.

Active: Aurelion Sol calls down a star that strikes the target location after 1.25 seconds, dealing magic damage to enemies hit and stunning them for 1 second. This generates 8 Stardust for each enemy champion hit.

Bonus: The star travels for 2 seconds instead, dealing 25% increased damage in a larger area and knocking up enemies hit for 1 second.

Empowered Magic Damage: 187.5 / 312.5 / 437.5 (+ 81.25% AP)
Magic Damage: 150 / 250 / 350 (+ 60% AP)

This emits a massive shockwave expanding over 3 seconds, dealing magic damage to enemy champions and epic monsters hit, slowing all enemies hit by 50% for 1 second, and revealing them for 1.5 seconds.

Enemies hit by the star are immune to the shockwave.

Patch 5.1Change

Our favorite Dragon in the Mid Lane has been gorging on stardust and outpacing his enemies, especially in the early-to-mid game. These changes will make sure he’s down to earth but still able to scale exponentially in late-game.

Cosmic Creator

  • Stardust granted from minions and small monsters reduced from 2 to 1.
  • Stardust granted from siege minions, cannon minions and large monsters increased from 3 to 5.

Singularity

  • Bugfix: Fixed an issue where Singularity could unnaturally kill a summoned Rift Herald.

Our favorite Dragon in the Mid Lane has been bursting tanks way faster than he should be. Now he’s gonna need some more Stardust to do that kind of damage.

Aurelion Sol is still way too strong even after the Liandry’s nerf. While we are nerfing his most powerful rune (Conqueror) we feel he needs an additional tune down to his mid-game strength to be more in line with other champions.

Celestial Expansion

This one’s coming in hot from a recent spike to Aurelion Sol’s winrate. From the desk of balance lead, Jonathan Chao: “I don’t know how to word it. Basically he could zoom everywhere before, just not change directions. Now he can zoom everywhere and change directions. We are nerfing him so he can change directions but at a slower move speed.”

Aurelion Sol added to Wild Rift

Aurelion Sol has the highest winrate amongst our top ranked players. He has too much mobility and crowd control right now, so we’re nerfing his cooldowns and stun duration. We know he’s an all-powerful celestial being, but… c’mon.

Starsurge

  • Minimum stun duration reduced from 0.55/0.6/0.65/0.7 seconds to 0.4/0.45/0.5/0.55.
  • Maximum stun duration reduced from 2.2/2.4/2.6/2.8 seconds to 1.6/1.8/2/2.2.

Celestial Expansion

  • Cooldown increased from 5/4/3/2 seconds to 8/6/4/2.

Comet of Legend

  • Cooldown increased from 55/50/45/40 seconds to 70/60/50/40.
