Innate: Viktor can augment each of his abilities at the cost of 100 Hex Fragments, which he gains from killing enemies: * Minions and monsters generate 1 Hex Fragment. * Siege minions, super minions, and epic monsters generate 10 Hex Fragments. * Enemy champion takedown generate 20 Hex Fragments.

Arcane Storm can be augmented after all of Viktor's basic abilities have been augmented.

Active: Viktor deploys a gravity field at the target location for 4.5 seconds. After a 0.75 -second delay, it activates to slow enemies within for 1 second, refreshing every 0.25 seconds while they remain inside.

The field applies a stack of Heavy Gravity to enemies within every 0.25 seconds, stacking up to 5 times. The fifth stack consumes them all to knockdown and stun the target for 1.5 seconds. The knockdown and stun can be triggered only once per cast per enemy.

Augment: Magnetize Glorious Evolution - : Viktor's other abilities, excluding Arcane Storm persistent damage, slow enemies hit by 20% for 1 second.

Active: Viktor conjures an arcane singularity at the target location, dealing magic damage to enemies within the area and disrupt their channel.

The singularity then remains active as a moving storm for 6.5 seconds, striking a bolt of electricity onto enemies within it every second to deal magic damage, as well as granting sight of the area within its radius and the surrounding area. The singularity will target the nearest champion hit by its initial damage and will follow them. The singularity moves faster based on its proximity to Viktor.

Arcane Storm can be recast at any time while the singularity is active.

Recast: Viktor directs the singularity to the target location, or to follow the target enemy champion or himself for its remaining duration.

Augment: Perfect Storm Glorious Evolution - : The singularity moves 25% faster. Additionally, whenever an enemy champion is takedown after being damaged by Arcane Storm, the singularity increases the storm's size by 40% and extends its duration by 3 seconds. The storm's radius can be increased up to 6 times and the singularity's duration can be extended only up to the original duration.

Viktor's in need of a little more power right now, and we'd like to do that by leaning into his strengths as a mid-range battlemage. To do this we're increasing the shield on his Q so that he can stick it out better when going in to look for trades against opponents.

Arcane Storm

  • New Effect: Augment: Perfect Storm — The singularity now increases in size by 40% and extends its duration by 3 seconds whenever an enemy champion is takedown after having been damaged by the ability. Size can only be increased up to 6 times and the duration can only be extended up to the original duration.

Glorious Evolution

  • New Innate: Viktor can augment his basic abilities after gaining 100 Hex Fragments. He gains 1 from minion and monster kills, 5 from large minions and 25 from takedowns. Chaos Storm gets augmented once all of his basic abilities have been augmented.
  • Old Innate: Viktor starts each game with an exclusive Prototype Hex Core, which permanently occupies one of his item slots. For some additional gold, Viktor can upgrade his Hex Core to increase its bonuses (Hex Core mk-1 Hex Core mk-2 Perfect Hex Core) and grant him one Evolution point, which he can use to augment one of his basic abilities. Once he augments all of his basic abilities, Viktor automatically augments his ultimate ability, Chaos Storm.

Glorious Evolution (Innate)

  • Viktor starts the game with a Prototype Hex Core, which grants 3 AP per level. Viktor can upgrade the core 3 times for 1000 gold each, with each upgrading granting +1 AP per level, +20 AP, +150 Mana and an augment to the basic ability of Viktor's choice. The upgrades accumulate into Perfect Hex Core, which grants a total of +6 AP per level, +60 AP, +500 Mana, augments for each of his basic abilities and also upgrading his ultimate.

Death Ray (E)

  • Upgrade renamed to Augment: Aftershock from Augment: Death.
  • Augment: Aftershock no longer applies a damage over time.
  • Augment: Aftershock now causes a trail of explosions to follow the Death Ray's path, dealing the same damage again.
  • Enemies hit by the laser will take only 40% damage from the trail.
  • The total damage of landing both parts increased to 140% from 130%.
  • Missile speed of the exploding trail is faster than the laser.

Chaos Storm (Ultimate)

  • Cast time reduced to 0.25 seconds from 0.33.
  • Cooldown reduced to 120/110/100 seconds from 120 at all ranks.
  • Radius of initial impact increased to 325 from 250.
  • Radius of DOT zone reduced to 325 from 350.
  • Storm always moves at maximum speed when moving towards Viktor (still moves slower when moving away from him, based on how far away).

  • Viktor conjures a singularity on the field which deals magic damage and briefly silences enemies. The singularity then does magic damage to all nearby enemies every second. Viktor can redirect the singularity.

  • Fixed a bug where the End of Game screen was reporting massive damage done values for Viktor.

  • Lowered Augment Costs to 1,000. (The displayed price will remain 1,200 until the patch in early 2012, but The Hex Core will be upgradable for 1,000 as it was originally intended)

  • Fixed a bug where it was not assigning the correct stats.

  • Fixed a bug where it was not doing the correct amount of damage reported.
