Serylda's Grudge Changes

Patch 25.6

change

Serylda's is being adjusted this patch to better match assassins by being pushed toward armor penetration and away from ability haste. This isn't meant to be a very large buff, but should feel better to use for most assassin champions.

General

  • Ability haste reduced to 15 from 20.
  • Armor penetration increased to 35% from 30%.

Patch 14.19

Serylda's Grudge is mostly returning to its old caster-assassin form, where it's still assassins' best percent pen option but also feels re-enabled for typical AD casters like Jayce. The percent pen is now higher for non-lethality users and is cheaper to boot, though the base 15 lethality loss means for the most part, the item is still nerfed.

  • New Recipe: Caulfield's Warhammer + Last Whisper + 500 gold = 3000 gold.
  • Old Recipe: The Brutalizer + Last Whisper + 413 gold = 3200 gold.
  • Ability haste increased to 20 from 15.
  • Lethality reduced to 0 from 15.
  • Armor penetration increased to 30% from 0%.
  • Removed Unique Passive - Rancor: Gain 25% (+ 0.11% per 1 Lethality) armor penetration.

Patch 14.12

With the recent changes to Lord Dominik's Regards and Black Cleaver, we wanted to make sure Serylda's was a competitive armor penetration purchase as well. We're picking to buff the flat value here so that bursty casters who aren't buying much lethality can still use this as a viable option.

  • Rancor base armor penetration increased to 25% from 20%.

  • Limited to 1 Fatality item.

  • Stats: 45 attack damage, 20 ability haste, 30% armor penetration.
  • Unique Passive - Bitter Cold: Dealing ability damage slow affected units by 30% for 1 second.
  • Limited to 1 Last Whisper item.
