Searing Brilliance - Innate
- •Innate: Mel's damaging basic attacks and abilities apply a stack of Overwhelm to enemies for 5 seconds, refreshing on subsequent applications and stacking infinitely.
- •Overwhelm: Store 50/65/80/95 (based on Golden Eclipse's rank) (+ 25% AP) magic damage on the affected enemy with the first stack, reduced to 60% against minions. For each stack, store an additional 2/3/4/5 (based on Golden Eclipse's rank) (+ 0.75% AP) magic damage on the target. If the total post-mitigation damage stored would deal death to the target (including through shields), the next stack will consume them all to deal the damage.
- •Innate - Searing Brilliance: Mel's ability casts each generate 3 stacks of Searing Brilliance for 5 seconds, refreshing on subsequent casts and stacking up to 9 times. Her next basic attack consumes all stacks of Searing Brilliance to additionally fire an equal number of blazing projectiles at the target. Each projectile deals 5 to 20 (based on level) (+ 1% AP) magic damage.
Radiant Volley - Q
- •Active: Mel launches a barrage of 6/7/8/9/10 luminous bolts at the target location over 0.7 seconds which distribute evenly in the area. Each bolt explodes upon landing to deal 13/16/19/22/25 (+ 8.5% AP) magic damage to nearby enemies, reduced to 75% against minions.
- •The bolts momentarily grant sight during their travel, while the explosions grant sight over their target area. Both can see through brush and terrain.
- •Cost: 70/80/90/100/110 mana.
- •Cooldown: 10/9/8/7/6 seconds.
- •Cast Time: 0.25 seconds, Speed: 5000, Effect Radius: 220 / 100, Spread: 60.
Rebuttal - W
- •Active: Mel forms a protective barrier around herself for 1 second, becoming invulnerable to non-turret damage and gaining 30% decaying bonus movement speed. All hostile non-turret projectiles that collide with the barrier will be destroyed instantly before Mel fires the same projectiles as her own, either toward or in the direction of the original sources, or toward herself.
- •Replicated projectiles have the same features that the original ones do, but they retain 40/47.5/55/62.5/70% (+ 5% per 100 AP) of the damage that the original ones would deal, and all of their damage is converted to magic.
- •Cost: 60/45/30/15/0 mana.
- •Cooldown: 35/32/29/26/23 seconds.
- •Cast Time: None, Effect Radius: 175.
Solar Snare - E
- •Active: Mel fires an orb in the target direction that grants sight of its surroundings for 0.25 seconds as it travels. Enemies hit by the orb are dealt 60/100/140/180/220 (+ 50% AP) magic damage and root for a 1.75/1.875/2/2.125/2.25 seconds.
- •The orb emanates a field of solar radiation that additionally expands after a 0.5-second delay. Enemies within the field are dealt 2/4/6/8/10 (+ 1% AP) magic damage and slow by 30% every 0.125 seconds, lingering for 0.75 seconds after exiting.
- •Both the orb and the field of Solar Snare deal 50% damage against minions.
- •Cost: 50/55/60/65/70 mana.
- •Cooldown: 12/11.5/11/10.5/10 seconds.
- •Cast Time: 0.25 seconds, Range: 1050, Speed: 1000, Effect Radius: 80 / 80 / 260, Sight Radius: 400.
Golden Eclipse - R
- •Passive: Searing Brilliance stacks store 15/30/45 (+ 1/2/3) more damage.
- •Active: Mel unleashes a radiant blast on all enemies affected by Searing Brilliance, dealing magic damage equal to 125/175/225 (+ 40% AP) (+ 4/7/10 (+ 2.5% AP) per Overwhelm stack on the target) to each target. Enemies are also standard sight for 1 second from the start of the cast time.
- •An enemy champion affected by Searing Brilliance is required to cast this ability. The target does not have to be sight to be hit by this ability.
- •Cost: 100 mana.
- •Cooldown: 120/100/80 seconds.
- •Cast Time: 0.75 seconds, Target Range: Global.
Maximum Dosage
- •New Effect: Now is special-cased to gain increased health regeneration from Axiom Arcanist (despite it not affecting regeneration, but heal).
E Move Speed increased at higher ranks. R damage increased.
Whiplash
- •Bonus movement speed increased to 30/35/40/45/50% from 30% at all ranks.
Last Caress
- •AP ratio increased to 75% AP from 65% AP.
- •Maximum AP ratio increased to 180% AP from 156% AP.
Increased Passive damage at lower levels.
The Darkin Scythe
- •Shadow Assassin bonus damage increased to 25 to 45% (based on level) from 15 to 45% (based on level).
Updated W pets to now increase damage on level up.
Void Swarm
- •New Effect: Live Voidlings now gain the level scaling bonuses when Malzahar levels up.
- •Tooltip now notes the damage per rank and uses it when calculating the displayed Voidling damage numbers.
- •Tooltip now properly uses stat growth instead of linear interpolation when calculating the displayed Voidling damage numbers.
Malefic Visions
- •Bug Fix: No longer sometimes fails to trigger Bloodletter's Curse Vile Decay.
Attack Damage growth increased. E damage increased.
Stats
- •Attack damage growth increased to 2.8 from 2.5.
Wuju Style
- •Bonus AD ratio increased to 35% bonus AD from 30%.
Q damage now scales to benefit from Infinity Edge.
Dragon Practice
- •New Effect: Super Scorcher Breath bonus damage based on critical chance is now affected by critical damage bonuses.
Super Scorcher Breath
- •New Effect: Damage based on critical chance is now affected by critical damage bonuses.
Passive heal increased and cooldown decreased at higher levels. R damage increased.
Feline Friendship
- •Cooldown reduced to 20 to 8 (based on level) seconds from 20 to 10 (based on level). Now scales until level 13 instead of 11.
- •Heal AP ratio increased to 25% AP from 15% AP.
Final Chapter
- •Base damage increased to 75/125/175 from 75/100/125.
- •Subsequent base damage increased to 18.75/31.25/43.75 from 18.75/25/31.25.
- •Damage AP ratio increased to 25% AP from 20% AP.
- •Subsequent damage AP ratio increased to 6.25% AP from 5% AP.
Triumphant Passive move speed decreased.
Serpentine Grace
- •Blessing of Noxus bonus movement speed reduced to 1 to 18 (based on level) from 2 to 36 (based on level).
W damage decreased. E damage decreased. R damage decreased.
Defiant Dance
- •Base damage reduced to 10/20/30/40/50 from 10/25/40/55/70.
- •Maximum base damage reduced to 10*3 to to 50*3 from 30/75/120/165/210.
Flawless Duet
- •Base damage reduced to 70/110/150/190/230 from 80/125/170/215/260.
Vanguard's Edge
- •Base damage reduced to 125/200/275 from 125/250/375.
Q damage decreased.
Tongue Lash
- •Base damage reduced to 75/120/165/210/255 from 80/130/180/230/280.

Siphon Power
- •Discharge AP ratio reduced to 50% AP from 60% AP.
Arcane Storm

- •Updated skin , Recall VFX and decal VFX to reflect Faker's fifth World Championship title.
Drakehound's Step

- •Bug Fix: Magic resistance reduction is once again enhanced while in Danger Zone.
Deadly Venom
- •Undocumented / Bug Fix: Stacks can no longer be applied on-hit. Now can only be applied by his basic attacks.
- •Note: This change resulted in Deadly Venom no longer counting as an on-hit effect; the stacks are no longer applied by effects that trigger/apply on-hit effects, such as Guinsoo's Rageblade.

- •Bug Fix: Teleport / Unleashed Teleport dash now transports his Mist Walkers to the target location.
Time in a Bottle
- •Bug Fix: Casting Teleport / Unleashed Teleport no longer causes the XP-share channel time to permanently increase to the last Teleport's / Unleashed Teleport's channel duration.
Chronoshift
