Wild Rift Patch 2.1 was released on Feb 1, 2021. This update included changes to 13 champions, with 4 buffs, 4 nerfs, 2 adjustments.

Stats

  • Attack damage growth increased from 3.6 to 4.55.

Martial Cadence

  • New effect: Now deals at least 20 damage.

Dragon Strike

  • Demacian Standard combo hitbox size increased from 200 to 250.

Cataclysm

  • Dash travel time reduced from 0.4 seconds to 0.25.

  • Total resistance reduction increased from 4/6/8/10 to 8/12/16/20.

Missile Barrage

  • Base damage increased from 80/95/110 to 80/115/150.
  • Big One base damage increased from 160/190/220 to 160/230/300.
  • AD ratio increased from 25% AD at all ranks to 25/45/65%.
  • Big One AD ratio increased from 50% AD at all ranks to 50/90/130%.

Jax has been underperforming in matchups we expect him to be stronger in. Amping up his gap closing so he can snowball better, particularly in situations against squishy ranged champions.

  • Target range increased from 600 to 650.
  • Cooldown reduced from 9/8/7/6 seconds to 7.5/7/6.5/6.
  • Base damage increased from 55/110/165/220 to 60/115/170/225.

Tristana’s abilities feel very lackluster, and her signature Explosive Charge (3) is not living up to its promise of being a huge nuke when fully stacked. We’re amping up all of her explosive powers to help her keep pace with other bot laners.

  • Bonus attack speed increased from 30/50/70/90% to 50/70/90/110%.
  • Duration increased from 5 seconds to 7.

Rocket Jump

  • Base damage increased from 60/130/200/270 to 85/155/225/295.

Explosive Charge

  • Passive base damage increased from 40/70/100/130 to 55/85/115/145.
  • Active base damage increased from 60/70/80/90 to 65/80/95/110.
  • Active AD ratio increased from 50/70/90/110% bonus AD to 55/90/125/160%.

Lightning Rush

Slicing Maelstrom

  • Base damage reduced from 35/70/105 to 30/60/90.
  • AP ratio reduced from 20% AP to 15%.

Our last changes made it so Sonic Wave (1) sometimes can’t reach a target kicked back by Dragon’s Rage (Ult). We’re adjusting the range to make this combo reliable again. We expect this to be a light nerf, but Lee Sin is for the most part in an okay spot.

Yasuo’s ultimate sometimes feels more like a Last Sigh. Currently it feels like it takes too long to complete the animation so we’re speeding it up, and also increasing its damage in the late game.

Last Breath

  • Base damage increased from 200/300/400 to 200/350/500.
  • Duration reduced from 1.5 seconds to 1.25.
  • Knock-up duration reduced from 1.5 seconds to 1.25.

Unique passive - Momentum

  • Removed: Basic attacks no longer convert Momentum into bonus magic damage on-hit.
  • Basic attacks will still remove all Momentum stacks.

Unique passive - Crushing Blow

  • New effect: Basic attacks deal magic damage equal to Momentum stacks removed. Melee attacks that expend maximum Momentum also slow by 50% for 1 second.
