Patch 4.2

Buff

Stats

  • Base movement speed increased from 340 to 350.

Patch 3.4b

Buff

Wukong has been underperforming for some time, so we’re amping up the damage his passive grants him and increasing the healing he gains from hitting enemy champions with Golden Staff.

Crushing Blows

  • Damage per stack increased from 3% to 4%.

Golden Staff

  • Base heal increased from 15/30/45/60 to 30/50/70/90.
  • Heal AD ratio changed from 25% base AD to 40% AD.
  • Heal bonus health ratio increased from 10% bonus health to 16%.
  • New effect: Heal is reduced to 50% against non-champions.

Patch 3.3b

Buff

We previously allowed Wukong to use Warrior Trickster to dash over walls, because the range of this dash in comparison to the size of the walls in Wild Rift made it difficult to use at most angles and walls. We’re making this dash over walls more forgiving to enable more use of this mechanic.

Warrior Trickster

  • Terrain dash distance increased.

Patch 3.3

Buff

We’re bringing a change over that has been very popular on League PC for this Monkey King, and we hope he can use this new feature to trick his enemies on the battlefield even more.

Warrior Trickster

  • New Effect: Can now dash over terrain.

Cyclone

  • Cooldown reduced from 100/85/70 seconds to 80/70/60.

Patch 3.2b

Compared to the other fighters in the Baron Lane, Wukong has been struggling to keep up. To bring the Monkey King’s power level closer to his fellow fighters, we’re improving his overall dueling potential while also giving Cyclone a quality of life update.

Stats

  • Base attack damage increased from 58 to 64.

Golden Staff

  • AD ratio increased from 10/20/30/40% to 30/35/40/45%.

  • Effect radius reduced from 300 to 225.
  • Movement speed reduced from 30% gradual to 20% flat.

Patch 2.5

Nerf

Wukong is clearing the jungle too quickly, so we are removing his ability to amplify his damage against large monsters for his clear. Note: The tooltip incorrectly stated that this passive could stack against any unit, while it only stacked on champions and large monsters.

Stone Skin

  • Now only stacks on epic monsters, instead of large monsters.

Patch 2.4b

Nerf

Despite being a formidable jungler, Wukong is still struggling to find his place in the Baron lane. We’re removing the healing reduction modifier from (1) Crushing Blow when he uses the skill against minions. This way, the Monkey King can better sustain himself during the laning phase.

Crushing Blow

  • Removed: 80% healing reduction modifier when attacking minions.

Patch 2.3a

Buff

Wukong is still struggling to maintain his presence outside the jungle. We’re increasing his ability to stay healthy in hopes that the Monkey King will be able to rightfully reign his lane.

Crushing Blow

  • Heal against minions increased from 50% to 80%.

Patch 2.3

Change

Wukong was monkeying around too much and underperforming in lane. We are giving him some more laning power to encourage him to play outside the comfort of his jungle. Also, we are adding a refund mechanic to his Golden Staff (1) so the Monkey King needs to stick on targets longer instead of aim to blow them up instantly.

Crushing Blow

  • Cooldown increased from 8/7/6/5 seconds to 8/7.5/7/6.5.
  • New Effect: Now also heals for 10% bonus health.
  • New Effect: Basic attacks from him and his clone now reduce Golden Staff's cooldown by 0.5 seconds.

(2) WARRIOR TRICKSTER - Clone will mimic Wukong’s Golden Staff (Q) casts

Warrior Trickster

  • New effect: The clone will mimic Golden Staff casts.

Patch 1.1

New

Wukong added to Wild Rift

Wukong is a vastayan trickster who uses his strength, agility, and intelligence to confuse his opponents and gain the upper hand.
