The Noxian occupation of Ionia produced many heroes, none more unlikely than young Irelia of Navori. Trained in the ancient dances of her province, she adapted her art for war, using the graceful and carefully practised movements to levitate a host of deadly blades. After proving herself as a fighter, she was thrust into the role of resistance leader and figurehead, and to this day remains dedicated to the preservation of her homeland.

Once a swordmaster in the warhosts of Noxus, Riven rose through the ranks on the strength of her conviction and brutal efficiency, and was rewarded with a legendary runic blade and a warband of her own. However, on the Ionian front, Riven’s faith in her nation was tested and ultimately broken. She severed all ties to the empire, seeking to find her place in a shattered world, even as rumors abounded that Noxus had been reforged. Now forced to return in chains, she faces the judgment of her former homeland...

Blitzcrank’s been running a bit sluggish, so this change will help him run smoother without overclocking him.
Mana Barrier
- •Cooldown reduced from 80 seconds to 50.
Overdrive
- •Cooldown reduced from 15 seconds to 12.
We are making Camille a bit easier to play by causing her tapcasted Hookshot (3) to auto-target walls. This way, the Steel Shadow can spend her efforts fully focused on engaging foes rather than hunting for suitable terrain.
Hookshot
- •New effect: Smart cast will target valid terrain in front within 45 degrees.
The Tidal Trickster doesn’t want to be anchored to just one swim lane, so we’re giving him a small buff to make him better suited for the jungle to increase his role flexibility. In addition, Fizz’s Playful/Trickster (3) is now more rewarding when used right and less punishing when misplayed.
Seastone Trident
- •Damage-over-time against monsters increased from 100% to 200%.
Playful / Trickster
- •Mana cost reduced from 95/100/105/110 to 85/90/95/100.
- •Cooldown reduced from 16/14/12/10 seconds to 15.5/13.5/11.5/9.5.
- •Base damage increased from 70/140/210/280 to 85/150/215/280.
After his electrifying debut, Kennen is now struggling to keep his spark alive. We are giving him a small voltage boost so he can maintain his shock value a bit longer.
Thundering Shuriken
- •Base damage increased from 65/120/175/230 to 75/130/185/240.
Electrical Surge
- •Cooldown reduced from 15/12/9/6 seconds to 12/10/8/6.
We are bringing Pantheon’s Grand Starfall (Ult) to be more similar to League PC as a way to help him out and give the Unbreakable Spear more options to itemize pure AD without investing into AD penetration.
Grand Starfall
- •New Effect: Passively grants 10/15/20% armor penetration.
Rakan is struggling to perform compared to his counterparts, so we are buffing his base stats and lowering his shield cooldown. This should allow the Charmer to dance his way into battle later in the game more often.
Stats
- •Base magic resistance increased from 30 to 34.
- •Magic resistance growth increased from 0.8 to 1.2.
Fey Feathers
- •Cooldown reduced from 40 to 17.6 (based on level) seconds to 40 to 14.8 (based on level).
This toothy, psychotic crocodile did not have a full meal before escaping his entombment, so we’re giving Renekton some juicy damage and healing buffs. Who knew that being trapped underground for thousands of years would hinder one from reaching their full potential?
Stats
- •Base attack damage increased from 64 to 70.
Cull the Meek
- •Heal increased from 4/6/8/10 to 6/9/12/15.
- •Base damage increased from 60/110/160/210 to 70/120/170/220.
- •Bonus AD ratio increased from 80% bonus AD to 90%.
- •Enhanced base damage increased from 90/165/240/315 to 105/180/255/330.
- •Enhanced bonus AD ratio increased from 120% bonus AD to 135%.
With her recent buffs, Diana has been enjoying her time in the moonlight a little too much. We are reeling her in so she has to work a bit harder if she wants to snowball through her opponents.
Stats
- •Base health reduced from 610 to 570.
Moonsilver Blade
- •AP ratio reduced from 60% AP to 50%.
Moonfall
- •Minimum base damage reduced from 175/225/275 to 150/200/250.
- •Maximum base damage reduced from 350/450/550 to 300/400/500.
Garen is too good at attritioning out his opponents with his tankiness and low ultimate cooldown. We are toning this down so he doesn’t become the absolute king of Baron lane.
Stats
- •Health growth reduced from 135 to 125.
- •Armor growth reduced from 6.4 to 5.8.
Demacian Justice
- •Cooldown increased from 65/60/55 seconds to 80/70/60.
Gragas’ drinking is becoming a problem. He is shrugging off too much damage while dishing out too much himself. These changes should help the Rabble Rouser sober up into a more reasonable state.
Drunken Rage
- •Base damage reduction reduced from 10/13/16/19% to 8/11/14/17%.
- •Health ratio reduced from 8% target's maximum health to 7%.
The Void Reaver has a unique mechanic we believe needs a bit more massaging to match Wild Rift’s faster pace and smaller map. We are making it easier for targets to become isolated so Kha’Zix can live out his predatory dreams more frequently.
Unseen Threat
- •Isolation radius reduced from 400 to 300.
Rammus’ early jungle clear was too slow for comfort while his damage scaling was too high. We’re adjusting his base stats to help him gain momentum faster early on while dulling his spikes a bit to make him less tanky in the late game. This way, we hope players don’t start hatin’ when they see him rollin’.
Stats
- •Armor growth reduced from 5.1 to 4.7.
Defensive Ball Curl
- •Passive on-hit base damage increased from 5/10/15/20 to 8/10/12/14.
The Hexplosives Expert is getting too carried away with damaging structures, so we are turning down his explosive impact just a bit.
Short Fuse
- •Damage against structures reduced from 200% to 150%.
Akali is frustratingly strong in the early game, but also a bit difficult to play. We’re giving a nod to our friends at PC who recently addressed this by re-balancing her base stats and simplifying her energy regeneration mechanics. By reducing her early game tankiness, her laning success isn’t guaranteed, but on the shuriken flip side, her overall net buff with later dueling payoff will be deadly when she strikes. With her new Maximum Energy mechanic, Akali will no longer be punished for activating Twilight Shroud (2) at the wrong energy levels.
Stats
- •Base health reduced from 650 to 570.
- •Health growth increased from 115 to 125.
- •Base armor reduced from 35 to 30.
Assassin's Mark
- •Removed: No longer restores 15 energy.
Five Point Strike
- •Energy cost changed from 95/90/85/80 to 130/110/90/70.
Twilight Shroud
- •New Effect: Now restores 80 energy on-cast and increases maximum energy by 80 while the shroud is active.
Shuriken Flip
- •Shuriken base damage reduced from 40/80/120/160 to 30/60/90/120.
- •Shuriken AD ratio reduced from 35% AD to 25%.
- •Shuriken AP ratio reduced from 50% AP to 30%.
- •Dash base damage increased from 40/80/120/160 to 70/120/170/220.
- •Dash AD ratio increased from 35% AD to 50%.
- •Dash AP ratio increased from 50% AP to 80%.
Perfect Execution
- •First cast damage type changed from physical to magic.
- •New Effect: First cast now scales with 30% AP.
- •Second cast AP ratio reduced from 50% AP to 40%.
Darius has been cutting his way through enemies too easily in the early game. We are axing the Attack Damage he gains when reaching full stacks of his Noxian Might (passive) during his first few levels to ensure he doesn’t get carried away too fast.
Hemorrhage
- •Noxian Might bonus attack damage changed from 29 to 225 (based on level) to 22 to 226 (based on level).
Another buff is in the cards for Twisted Fate as he continues to feel inconsistent in the late game. We are returning a portion of his Attack Speed from Stacked Deck (3) back to a passive always-on version. We accidentally left the changes regarding his passive base damage and AP ratio out of the 2.2c Patch Notes (sorry!), but these were made so the Card Master wouldn’t have to fold so early in drawn out fights.
Stacked Deck
- •New Effect: Now passively grants 15/20/25/30% bonus attack speed.
- •Active bonus attack speed reduced from 55/70/85/100% to 40/50/60/70%.
Wukong was monkeying around too much and underperforming in lane. We are giving him some more laning power to encourage him to play outside the comfort of his jungle. Also, we are adding a refund mechanic to his Golden Staff (1) so the Monkey King needs to stick on targets longer instead of aim to blow them up instantly.
Crushing Blow
- •Cooldown increased from 8/7/6/5 seconds to 8/7.5/7/6.5.
- •New Effect: Now also heals for 10% bonus health.
- •New Effect: Basic attacks from him and his clone now reduce Golden Staff's cooldown by 0.5 seconds.
Warrior Trickster
- •Cooldown increased from 16/14/12/10 seconds to 18/17/16/15.
Xin Zhao’s kit is a bit outdated; however, our friends in League PC had a successful mini-rework for him.. We are bringing some of those changes over to help match the Seneschal of Demacia to a more modern champion design.
Stats
- •Base attack damage reduced from 64 to 58.
Determination
- •Base heal reduced from 9.6 to 60 (based on level) to 6.8 to 60 (based on level).
Three Talon Strike
- •Base damage reduced from 25/30/35/40 to 20/25/30/35.
Wind Becomes Lightning
- •Cooldown reduced from 12/11/10/9 seconds to 12/10.5/9/7.5.
- •Damage against minions reduced from 100% to 50%.
- •New Effect: Both strikes now hit slightly behind Xin Zhao.
- •Thrust range increased from 600 to 800.
- •Thrust AD ratio reduced from 80% AD to 70%.
- •New Effect: Thrust now challenges champions and monsters and provides vision of the target for 3 seconds. The furthest hit is the one that is challenged.
Audacious Charge
- •New Effect: Target range against challenged targets increased from 550 to 850.
- •AP ratio increased from 60% AP to 80%.
Crescent Guard
- •Base damage reduced from 75/175/275 to 75/150/225.
- •AP ratio increased from 0% AP to 80%.
- •Duration increased from 3 seconds to 5.
- •Removed: Basic attacks and abilities no longer extend Crescent Guard's duration.
Items
The ghosts were feeling a bit hollow, so we’re putting some wind in their sails to lift their spirits.
General
- •Summoned Ghosts’ Top Speed: Increased by 20%
Black Cleaver is being overshadowed by Trinity Force too often. We are giving it a bump to help it keep up with the faster pace of the game and to diversify item build paths.
General
- •Attack damage increased from 30 to 35.
Unique passive - Sunder
- •Armor reduction per stack increased from 4% to 5%.
- •Maximum stacks reduced from 6 to 5.
- •Total armor reduction increased from 24% to 25%.
AD Assassin play styles are missing their marks, so we are giving a small nudge to their primary damage item to balance to increase their viability.
General
- •Attack damage increased from 50 to 55.
The Maw feels underwhelming as a hybrid defense and offense tool, so we are bumping it up to make it worth the purchase.
General
- •Total cost reduced from 3200 gold to 3000 gold.
- •Combine cost reduced from 800 gold to 600 gold.
- •Magic resistance increased from 35 to 45.
Dead Man’s Plate is too strong overall given its high utility, so we are tuning down some of its generic tank power to lighten its impact.
General
- •Health reduced from 300 to 250.
Trinity Force has been doing its job too well, particularly for champions who rely on Attack Speed. To slow their roll a bit, we are tuning it down.
General
- •Attack speed reduced from 40% to 30%.
