Wild Rift Patch 4.4d was released on Dec 27, 2023. This update included changes to 23 champions, with 12 buffs, 6 nerfs, 5 adjustments.

Bandage Toss

  • Recharge time reduced from 14/13.5/13/12.5 seconds to 12/11.5/11/10.5.

Tantrum

  • Base damage increased from 90/120/150/180 to 110/140/170/200.

Noxian Guillotine

  • New effect: If during the cast time that the target becomes untargetable or exits range, the ability refunds the mana cost and incurs 5 second cooldown.

Demacian Justice

Granite Shield

  • Health ratio increased from 9% maximum health to 11%.

Thunderclap

  • Bonus armor increased from 15/20/25/30% armor to 20/25/30/35%.
  • On-hit armor ratio increased from 20% armor to 30%.
  • Cleave armor ratio increased from 10% armor to 15%.

  • AD ratio increased from 90/105/120/135% AD to 95/110/125/140%.

  • New effect: Thresh will not turn in the target direction until after the cast time.

Mocking Shout

Spinning Slash

  • Cooldown reduced from 12/11/10/9 seconds to 11/10/9/8.
  • AD ratio increased from 130% bonus AD to 135%.

Disdain

  • Cooldown reduced 15/14/13/12 seconds to 14/13/12/11.
  • Base shield increased from 60/90/120/150 to 70/100/130/160.

Fear Beyond Death

  • Cooldown reduced from 70/60/50 seconds to 60/55/50.

The Darkin Blade

  • Damage against monsters reduced from 185% to 160%.

Jayce hasn’t been as dominant in Lane as we had hoped. These changes will make it easier for him to snowball, and the jungle adjustment will make sure he doesn’t clear camps too quickly.

Sona is a master of recasting her chords like rapidfire, giving enemies a hard time. We’ve fine-tuned her, as well as her healing and shielding scaling to make sure she’s not deafening her opponents.

Power Chord

  • Basic ability cooldown reduction reduced from 2 to 30% (based on level) to 2 to 20% (based on level)

Aria of Perseverance

  • Base heal increased from 20/35/50/65 to 25/40/55/70.

  • Base shield changed from 20/50/80/110 to 25/50/75/100.
  • Shield AP ratio reduced from 20% AP to 18%.

Crescendo

  • Aura bonus effectiveness reduced from 30% to 20%.
  • Base damage per 0.75 seconds reduced from 40/80/120 to 35/60/85.
  • Total base damage increased from 200/400/600 to 175/300/425.

  • Slow reduced from 35/40/45% to 25/30/35%.

Transfusion

Sanguine Pool

  • Bonus movement speed reduced from 35% to 27.5%.

  • AD ratio increased from 120% bonus AD to 125%.

Clockwork Windup

  • AP ratio increased from 70% AP to 75%.

Short Fuse

  • New
  • Innate: Ziggs' abilities deal 15% damage to turrets.
  • Innate: Periodically, the next Bouncing Bomb that hits a target will deal 20 to 62 (based on level) (+ 20% AP) bonus magic damage, and 20% of the damage to turrets hit. Ziggs' ability casts reduce the remaining cooldown by 4 seconds.
  • Cooldown: 24

  • Innate: Periodically, Ziggs enhances his next basic attack to deal 30 to 170 (based on level) (+ 30/40/50% (at level 1/6/11) AP) bonus magic damage, increased to 150% against turrets.
  • Short Fuse's remaining cooldown is reduced by 4/5/6 (at level 1/6/12) seconds whenever Ziggs casts an ability.

Bouncing Bomb

  • Base damage reduced from 85/145/205/265 to 65/130/195/260.
  • New effect: Subsequent landing zones will be telegraphed.
  • Missile speed slightly increased.
  • Smart cast range increased.

Satchel Charge

  • New effect: Satchel Charge can recast mid-flight.
  • New effect: The execution indicator will display globally as well as through fog of war.
  • New effect: Added an execution threshold displayed on the turret's healthbar.

Mega Inferno Bomb

  • Smart cast range increased to full target range.
  • Base damage increased from 200/300/400 to 270/375/480.
  • AP ratio increased from 70% AP to 85% AP.
  • Editor's Note: Patch notes writes the normal damage as the center damage rather than the edge damage. Center damage was 300/450/600 (+ 105% AP).
  • Removed: Detonation no longer deals increased magic damage in the center.

Garden of Thorns

  • Removed: Thorn Spitter no longer applies spell and on-hit effects. Notable exceptions include Liandry's Torment and Rylai's Crystal Scepter.
  • New effect: Thorn Spitter will be executed against attacks from epic monsters.

Items

Amaranth’s Twinguard isn’t providing enough stats for players to justify the purchase. We’re increasing the base stats to make it a more attractive item for tanks.

General

  • Total cost reduced from 3200 gold to 3100 gold.
  • Combine cost reduced from 1000 gold to 900 gold
  • Armor increased from 55 to 60.
