- Base armor increased from 40 to 46.
- Base health increased from 650 to 720.
- Health growth increased from 115 to 120.
- Magic resistance growth increased from 1.6 to 2.
Gragas has been overpowering his enemies with his unrelenting damage. We’re adjusting his numbers to allow room for counterplays.
Body Slam
- Base damage reduced from 80/145/210/275 to 70/135/200/265.
- AP ratio reduced from 80% AP to 70%.
Explosive Cask
- AP ratio reduced from 80% AP to 70%.
Gragas has not been performing up to par so we are making him a little tankier to be suitable for any situation the Rift might throw at him.
Happy Hour
- Heal health ratio increased from 7% maximum health to 8.5%.
Drunken Rage
- Base damage reduction increased from 8/11/14/17% to 11/13/15/17%.
- Base damage increased from 20/60/100/140 to 50/80/110/140.
Gragas has been needing a little boost in the jungle. Now he will be able to body slam his way through the jungle and lanes alike.
Drunken Rage
- AP ratio increased from 75% AP to 90%.
Body Slam
- AP ratio increased from 70% AP to 80%.
Explosive Cask
- AP ratio increased from 70% AP to 80%.
Body Slam
- New effect: Added Barrel Roll combo cast.
Due to some of the changes we made to items and runes, Gragas can now spam his third ability, Body Slam when he gains a lot of Ability Haste over the course of the game. Because of this, we’re adding a new rule to this ability so that we can prevent him from slamming into you over and over and well…over again without any cooldown.
Body Slam
- New effect: Cooldown can be reduced to a minimum 1.25 seconds.
Stats
- Base movement speed increased from 330 to 340.
Gragas has been feeling a bit under the weather, so we’re boosting up his sustain and his payout for getting close to enemies if he’s building damage.
Happy Hour
- Heal increased from 6% maximum health to 7%.
Drunken Rage
- AP ratio increased from 65% AP to 75%.
Body Slam
- AP ratio increased from 60% AP to 70%.
Explosive Cask
- Cooldown reduced from 90/75/60 seconds to 85/70/55.
Gragas’ strong damage and survivability along with the utility gained from his ultimate, where he can displace enemy champions during a fight, has led him to become a dominating pick, especially in pro play. To reduce some of his strength, we’re increasing the travel speed of Gragas’ ultimate, so that his impact during those coordinated teamfights is less oppressive.
Explosive Cask
- Travel time increased from 6 frames to 8 .
- Editor's Note: V1.1 contradicts old value.
Since recent nerfs, Gragas has been struggling to find his place in the jungle, so we’re increasing his clear speed. We hope this change allows him to have more opportunities to slam into his teammates' lanes and give them an assist.
Stats
- Base attack damage increased from 64 to 70.
Gragas was dominating at all levels, but after all our changes he’s been falling off a bit too much, especially in high level play. We are cautiously giving him back some of his power in the jungle.
Drunken Rage
- Maximum damage against monsters increased from 300 to 400.
Explosive Cask
- Base damage increased from 150/275/400 to 200/300/400.
Gragas is a dominant pick in professional play and a multi-position flex. While it’s great when skilled Gragas players set up their team with a powerful knockback, (Ult) Explosive Cask currently holds too much damage and is available a little too frequently in the earlygame.
Explosive Cask
- Cooldown increased from 80/70/60 seconds to 90/75/60.
- Base damage reduced from 200/300/400 to 150/275/400.
Gragas is causing too much of a ruckus on the Rift, particularly at the highest levels of play. We’re toning down some of the utility and power that he has in abundance, giving his opponents some windows to play around.
Stats
- Armor growth reduced from 4.7 to 4.3.
Barrel Roll
- Base damage reduced from 80/130/180/230 to 65/120/175/230.
- Slow reduced from 40/45/50/55 to 30/35/40/45%.
Drunken Rage
- Cooldown increased from 4.5 seconds to 5.
Drunken Rage
- Base damage reduction reduced from 10/13/16/19% to 8/11/14/17%.
- Health ratio reduced from 8% target's maximum health to 7%.
Gragas is very tanky with great sustain in lane; we’re nerfing him so he doesn’t straight up win all trades against his lane opponents.
Stats
- Health growth reduced from 125 to 115.
Happy Hour
- Cooldown increased from 7 seconds to 8.
Barrel Roll
- Mana cost increased from 55/60/65/70 to 65/70/75/80.
- Damage against minions reduced from 70% to 50%.
Gragas’ ult is much harder to land in Wild Rift, and it’s a huge part of his play-making potential. We’re making it a bit faster so he can start the party a bit sooner.
Stats
- Base health reduced from 690 to 650.
Barrel Roll
- AP ratio reduced from 80% AP to 70%.
Drunken Rage
- Cooldown increased from 4 seconds to 4.5.
Explosive Cask
- AP ratio reduced from 80% AP to 70%.
- Travel time reduced from 6 frames to 4 .
We gave Gragas pretty hefty buffs in the Regional Alpha, but he’s still underperforming. We’re going to give him another slight boost so he can start bodying people.
Stats
- Base health increased from 650 to 690.
- Health growth increased from 115 to 125.
Explosive Cask
- AP ratio increased from 70% AP to 80%.
Gragas added to Wild Rift
Gragas was running out of mana pretty quickly, and his full ability combo felt a little on the weak side, so we buffed his mana regen, (1) Barrel Roll and (2) Drunken Rage to get him back in the happy hour spirit.
Base Stats
- Mana Regen: 12 → 15
- Mana Regen per Level: 0.7 → 0.9
(1) Explosive Cask
- AP Ratio: 0.7 → 0.8
- Cooldown: 11/10/9/8s → 9.5 / 8.5 / 7.5 / 6.5s
(2) Drunken Rage
- AP Ratio: 0.5 → 0.65
