Abilities
Moonsilver BladeWR
Passive - Moonsilver Blade

Innate: After casting an ability, Diana gains 30% - 100% (based on level) bonus attack speed for 4 seconds.

Innate: Diana's basic attacks generate a stack for 4 seconds, refreshing on subsequent attacks and stacking up to 2 times. At 2 stacks, her next basic attack on-hit will consume them all to additionally cleave nearby enemies, dealing them 35 - 245 (based on level) (+ 50% AP) magic damage.

Moonsilver Blade deals 75% damage to monsters.

Active: Diana unleashes a bolt of energy that travels in a counter-clockwise arc before exploding at the target location, granting sight of the area for 0.5 seconds and dealing magic damage to enemies hit along the way and within the detonation. Enemies damaged by Crescent Strike are afflicted with Moonlight for 3 seconds, during which they are revealed

Active: Diana grants herself a shield for up to 5 seconds and creates three spheres that orbit her counterclockwise for the same duration, detonating upon contact with an enemy to deal magic damage to nearby enemies.

Total Magic Damage: 60 / 105 / 150 / 195 (+ 60% AP)

If all three spheres detonate, Pale Cascade's shield is reapplied, stacking with its original shield and refreshing the duration.

If Moonlight is consumed, Lunar Rush's cooldown is reduced to 0.5 seconds.

Ability 4 - Moonfall
Cost: 100 Mana
CD: 70 / 65 / 60

Active: Diana charges for up to 1 second, marking an area around herself that expands its radius over the duration. Enemies within the area are slowed by 20%. Moonfall can be recast at any time during the charge to trigger Moonfall Glow, and does so automatically if the charge is interrupted.

Minimum Magic Damage: 100 / 160 / 220 (+ 40% AP)
Maximum Magic Damage: 200 / 320 / 440 (+ 80% AP)

Recast - Moonfall Glow: Diana commands the moon to fall upon the marked area, dealing magic damage to nearby enemies, increased by up to 100% based on charge time, and pulling them towards her and in a clockwise direction around her. Targets damaged by Moonfall are slowed by 20% for 2 seconds and afflicted with Moonlight for 3 seconds.

Moonfall cannot be cast if there are no enemy champions nearby.

Diana is overpowering enemy champions so we nerfed some of her damaging abilities. We also wanted to bring her jungle clear speed back in line with other junglers so we nerfed her damage to monsters.

We adjusted Diana's ultimate, to boost the combo potential among her abilities, so she could use them in a more flexible manner.

Moonsilver Blade

  • New effect: Bonus attack speed is granted for 4 seconds instead of 3 attacks.

Moonfall

  • Minimum base damage reduced from 150/200/250 to 125/175/225.
  • Maximum base damage reduced from 300/400/500 to 250/350/450.
  • New effect: Enemies hit are slowed by 20% for 2 seconds.
  • New effect: Channel has been changed into a recast, which can be recast within 1 second or automatically afterwards.

Diana’s been feeling a little underwhelming lately. I guess the recent eclipse is pretty distracting. We’re gonna make sure her spells still pack a punch though.

Crescent Strike

  • Cooldown reduced from 9/8/7/6 seconds to 8/7/6/5.
  • Mana cost reduced from 55/65/75/85 to 50/55/60/65.

Pale Cascade

  • Damage AP ratio increased from 20% AP to 25%.
  • Base shield increased from 40/60/80/100 to 50/70/90/110.

General

  • Skin renamed from Immortal Journey Diana to Serene Sword Diana.
  • New Lore: Diana dreamed of wielding a sacred weapon like that of the legendary guardian Janna. Then one autumn night as she trained by the light of the moon, a sacred sword appeared before her, and she knew her new purpose in life was to defend it at all costs.
  • Old Lore: Ever since Diana heard the legend of Janna when she was very young, she idolized her. Many years later, she finally found the courage to seek the immortal in the lake, but Janna had long since left. "The brilliant moonlight illuminates the entire lake, its surface misty and serene like unpolished glass." Her heart full of regret, the flow of swordsmanship suddenly well up within her as Diana gazed upon the autumnal lake in moonlight. Under the moonlight, she practiced through the night, finding her own path of swordsmanship.

It’s been a moon-ute since we’ve had a look at Diana, and our recent systematic changes have not favored her. So we’re looking to give her a small boost in health and also reducing the cooldown on her Lunar Rush to lend her a hand.

Patch 3.3Change

This Lunari warrior is a little too oppressive in higher levels of play, so we’re tapping down the damage of her dash to cut down on some of the damage output she has when fully maximizing Moonlight.

  • Cooldown reduced to from 80/70/60 seconds 70/65/60.

Diana is very close to being a viable jungler so we are giving her a light nudge to help her succeed a little more.

Diana’s weak across the board, so we’re shifting some of the rank-up power from (3) Lunar Rush into (2) Pale Cascade alongside some general buffs. These changes will help her survive the laning phase and push her advantage when she gets ahead.

  • Removed: No longer grants bonus attack speed after casting an ability on her next 3 basic attacks.

Moonfall

  • Minimum base damage from 150/200/250 increased to 175/225/275.
  • Minimum AP ratio increased from 35% AP to 40%.
  • Maximum base damage increased from 300/400/500 to 350/450/550.
  • Maximum AP ratio increased from 70% AP to 80%.
