Ryze is performing strongly with his reliable scaling into the mid and late game while still offering solid poke and burst early on. Currently, the movement speed from his first ability, especially when paired with Phase Rush, gives him too much burst mobility and makes him difficult to punish. So, we’re reducing this mobility interaction and slightly lowering the base damage of his first ability to keep his strengths in check.

- Base attack damage reduced from 58 to 54.
Overload
- Base damage reduced from 80/105/130/155 to 70/95/120/145.
- Bonus movement speed reduced from 30/35/40/45% to 20/27.5/35/42.5%.
Patch 7.0cBuff
We optimized Ryze’s ability combo targeting logic, allowing him to strike his enemies more precisely.
Overload
- New effect: Smart casting will prioritize the nearest target marked by Spell Flux.

- Base armor increased from 37 to 40.
- Armor growth increased from 4.5 to 5.

- Cooldown reduced from 10/9.5/9/8.5 seconds to 10/9/8/7.
Realm Warp
- Cooldown reduced from 115/100/85 seconds to 110/95/80.

Ryze’s late-game burst is too high, so we’re lowering his damage across the board.

- Base health reduced from 690 to 660.

- Base damage reduced from 90/115/140/165 to 80/105/130/155.
- AP ratio reduced from 50% AP to 45%.
