- Base damage per 1 second increased from 3 to 8.6 (based on level) to 3.6 to 9.2 (based on level).
- Total base damage increased from 15 to 43 (based on level) to 18 to 46 (based on level).
- Noxian Might bonus attack damage increased from 22 to 226 (based on level) to 32 to 236 (based on level).
- Damage against monsters increased from 150% to 180%.

- Base armor increased from 45 to 52.
- Base health increased from 610 to 650.

The most feared Noxus Commander has not been able to cleave through his enemies as easily as he had hoped. These changes will sharpen his Axe and ready him for battle!

Do you suffer from buyer’s remorse? This is a QOL adjustment that will make casting Darius’ ult feel a little less like a waste if it fizzles out early... Darius changes will be available January 4 at 00:01 UTC.

- New effect: If during the cast time that the target becomes untargetable or exits range, the ability refunds the mana cost and incurs 5 second cooldown.
We noticed that the effect of Darius’ Hemorrhage has not been impactful this patch, which is not ideal since the bleed it provides is essential to his kit. This buff will return Darius to his glorious state. Have fun dunking!

In the current Baron Lane meta, Darius is falling behind the pack. We’re lending this fighter a hand, and increasing his damage. But, we’re also reducing the amount of damage he can do to monsters so we can make sure this boost doesn’t push him into a different lane.

We’re trying out buffing up this Noxian’s jungle clearspeed to see how he performs in the new jungle that has stronger early clearing power.

Despite his popularity, Darius has been underforming for all players for a while now. We’re helping out his late game survivability and giving the cooldown on Crippling Strike a flat value. This should give him more agency during the laning phase and team fights.

- Cooldown changed from 6.5/6/5.5/5 seconds to 5.5 at all ranks.
Noxian Guillotine
- Cooldown reduced from 80/70/60 seconds to 70/65/60.
Darius has been an overly dominant force in the Baron Lane and has been having too easy of a time accessing his Noxian Might. We want him to stay in the fight a little longer before he hits his five bleed stacks and starts dunking, so we’re cutting back on the Attack Speed this Noxian fighter gets as he levels.

Darius has been one of the most dominant picks in Elite level play for some time. To promote champion diversity in the Baron Lane, we're reducing his ability to heal away damage during trades and skirmishes.

Darius is able to beat down his opponents with his raw stats. We’re giving him a bit less health to play with in lane.

Darius has been slightly underperforming in higher levels of play so we are making his successful ability hits a bit more rewarding.
