We’ve adjusted Yasuo so he will get enough crit scaling from items, alongside some nerfs to his base damage so that tank Yasuo is less of a threat to his opponents. We’ve also decreased the shield duration of him to make him less oppressive in general.

- Base health increased from 600 to 630.
- Health growth increased from 112 to 120.

- Bonus AD increased from 0.4 per 1% excess critical rate to 0.6.

Yasuo has been struggling against mages and assassins. A little boost to his Wind Wall should help with that.

Compared to other Mid Laners in higher levels of play, Yasuo has been falling behind. To give players who have mastered The Unforgiven more room for skill expression, we’re now allowing the target immunity cooldown of Yasuo’s Sweeping Blade to scale with the level of the ability.
Sweeping Blade
- Target immunity cooldown reduced from 8 seconds at all ranks to 8/7/6/5.
Way of the Wanderer
- New effect: Critical strike chance over 100% is not increased by Intent, but is converted to 0.8 AD per 1% critical strike chance.
Despite recent buffs, Yasuo has been running out of breath in the late game. To address this, we’re increasing his scaling Attack Damage.
Stats
- Attack damage growth increased from 3.6 to 4.5.
In Patch 3.4, we adjusted the cooldown reduction formula associated with Yasuo’s Steel Tempest ability, leading to a decrease in his overall damage output. To compensate for this loss in power, we’re increasing his base Attack Damage and the base damage of his ultimate.

Yasuo is performing below our expectations after recent nerfs, so we’re increasing his scaling Attack Damage to amp up his power in the later stages of the game.

Yasuo’s ability to take fast trades in lane and shrug off chip damage in the later stages of the game is stronger than we’d like, so we’re cutting down on the strength and duration of his passive shield.

We’ve noticed that the Whirlwind spawned by Yasuo’s Steel Tempest ability has been unreliable for harassing in lane or setting up key combos. In order to improve the feel and reliability of the spell, we’re increasing both its range and travel speed.
Steel Tempest
- Whirlwind missile speed increased from 1000 to 1150.
- Whirlwind missile range increases from 830 to 930.
Yasuo overly benefited from the Blade of the Ruined King changes last patch. At the same time, his defensive stats are too high given his passive shield and mobility. Taking a good chunk out of his base Armor and health to help his opponents capitalize on his mistakes more. We’re also adjusting his dash speed to better match his pace from League PC.

- Base armor reduced from 40 to 35.
- Base health reduced from 650 to 570.
Sweeping Blade
- Dash speed reduced from 1200 + movement speed to 900 + movement speed.
Yasuo’s ultimate sometimes feels more like a Last Sigh. Currently it feels like it takes too long to complete the animation so we’re speeding it up, and also increasing its damage in the late game.
Last Breath
- Base damage increased from 200/300/400 to 200/350/500.
- Duration reduced from 1.5 seconds to 1.25.
- Knock-up duration reduced from 1.5 seconds to 1.25.
Yasuo added to Wild Rift
We’re buffing Yasuo as he was too easy to bully in lane. He should be more durable now.
