Nautilus was last buffed in Patch 6.1d (). Across 15 patches, Nautilus has received 11 buffs, 3 nerfs, 1 adjustment since release in Patch 3.2b.

Staggering BlowWR
Passive - Staggering Blow

Innate: Nautilus basic attacks against enemies deal 13 - 125 (based on level) bonus physical damage and root the target for 1 seconds. This effect cannot occur on the same target more than once every few seconds.

Active: Nautilus hurls his anchor in the target direction that stops on the first enemy or terrain hit.

Magic Damage: 90 / 150 / 210 / 270 (+ 75% AP)

If the anchor hits an enemy, it deals magic damage, reveals them for 1.15 seconds, stuns them for 1 second, and drags them toward Nautilus while he also dashes toward them, both over 0.9 seconds.

If the anchor hits terrain, Nautilus dashes to that location and 50% of the cooldown and mana cost are refunded.

Nautilus is unable to move or attack while Dredge Line is in flight. He can cast abilities during the dash.

Active: Nautilus shields himself for 6 seconds and while it holds, his basic attacks are empowered to deal bonus magic damage to the target and surrounding enemies. Titan's Wrath deals 200% damage against monsters.

Bonus Magic Damage: 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 (+ 40% AP)

Titan's Wrath resets Nautilus' basic attack timer.

Active: Nautilus sends three waves of explosions that emanate from him over 0.561 seconds. Each wave deals magic damage to enemies hit and slows them by an amount that decays over 1.5 seconds. Enemies take 50% damage against subsequent waves.

Active: Nautilus sends out a Depth Charge that chases the target enemy champion, accelerating over time and creating eruptions every 0.25 seconds in its wake that also briefly grant sight of the area. Enemies hit by the eruptions are dealt magic damage, knocked up for 1 second, and stunned for a duration.

Upon reaching the primary target, the Depth Charge erupts a final time at their location. The primary target takes increased damage, is knocked up for 1 second, and stunned for a duration.

Nautilus has been overly reliant on items to be tanky. We’re boosting his Base Stats so he can soak damage for his team even early on.

Nautilus has been a terror to deal with when stacking mage items. We’re tweaking his ratios to ensure his anchor is not dealing massive damage. 

Dredge Line

  • AP ratio reduced from 90% AP to 80%.

Depth Charge

  • Cooldown increased from 60/50/40 seconds to 70/60/50.
  • Primary target AP ratio reduced from 80% AP to 70%.

Nautilus hasn’t been as tanky as he should be. These changes will let him soak up all the damage he needs to for his carries to shine.

  • Shield health ratio increased from 11/12/13/14% maximum health to 12/13/14/15%.
  • On-hit base damage increased from 40/50/60/70 to 50/60/70/80.

After our recent buffs to Nautilus, he has been dominating in the Jungle. We’re putting our anchor down, and taking back some of those previous adjustments.

Nautilus hasn’t made the impact that we’d like to see in higher levels of play, so we’re increasing the duration of the stun provided by his passive and reducing the cooldown of Dredge Line so you can hook, line and sink your foes a few more times over the course of your games.

Since his release, The Titan of the Depths has been performing naut too hot, so we’re giving Nautilus an array of buffs that will allow him to make impactful plays more consistently throughout the course of a game.

Stats

  • Movement speed increased from 325 to 330.

Dredge Line

  • Cooldown reduced from 13/12/11/10 seconds to 12/11/10/9.

Depth Charge

  • Missile acceleration start time reduced from 2.5 seconds to 1.
  • Cooldown reduced from 70/60/50 seconds to 60/50/40.
Patch 3.3Buff

Nautilus hooks aren’t quite sinking as well as we’d hoped, so we’re making some adjustments to the hitbox to make it a bit easier to drag enemies down. While we’re at it, we’re buffing up some of the damage he deals to monsters to get his clear up to a healthier speed.

Dredge Line

  • Width against units increased from 100 to 130.
  • Width against terrain reduced from 40 to 20.

Titan's Wrath

  • Damage against monsters increased from 150% to 200%.

  • Cooldown reduced from 80/65/50 seconds to 70/60/50.
