Sap MagicWR
Passive - Sap Magic

Innate: Periodically, Maokai's next basic attack will have an uncancellable windup and heal him for 4% - 10% (based on level) maximum health.

Each time Maokai casts an ability, hits at least one enemy champion or epic monster with Sapling Toss, or is struck by an enemy's ability, Sap Magic's cooldown is reduced by 3 seconds.

Sap Magic resets Maokai's basic attack timer, and will not trigger if he is above 95% maximum health.

Active: Maokai sends a shockwave in the target direction that deals magic damage to enemies hit and slows them by 99% for 0.25 seconds. Bramble Smash deals 120 bonus magic damage against monsters.

Magic Damage: 60 / 115 / 170 / 225 (+ 0.06% target's maximum health) (+ 50% AP)

Enemies near Maokai are also stunned for 0.5 seconds and knocked back to 300-range.

Active: Maokai dashes to the target enemy while being untargetable. Upon arrival, he deals magic damage and roots them for a duration.

Twisted Advance deals 180% damage against monsters.

Active: Maokai flings a Sapling to the target location, which grants sight of the area as it lingers for 20 seconds. It will chase nearby enemies for up to 2.5 seconds, expiring afterward or upon contact. When Sapling expires, it will burst to deal magic damage to nearby enemies and slow them by 30% for 2 seconds.

Magic Damage: 60 / 90 / 120 / 150 (+ 25% AP) (+ 6% bonus health)
Enhanced Damage: 120 / 180 / 240 / 300 (+ 50% AP) (+ 12% bonus health)

A Sapling placed in brush will be enhanced: it instead lasts 30 seconds and deals 200% damage against struck targets as 3 bursts over 1.5 seconds, slowing them by 30% (+ 1% per 100 AP) (+ 1.5% per 100 bonus health).

Active: Maokai summons a colossal wave of five thorny brambles that slowly advances in the target direction. Each bramble deals magic damage to enemies hit and roots them for 0.8 seconds.

Bonus Movement Speed: 40 / 50 / 60%

Each bramble will stop upon hitting an enemy champion, which grants Maokai bonus movement speed decaying over 2 seconds.

Maokai's powerful health regeneration and crowd control allow for very strong mid to late game teamfighting. We adjusted his passive and Twisted Advance to give his enemies some room to get rid of him.

Bramble Smash

  • Health ratio reduced from 2/3/4/5% target's maximum health to 2.5/3/3.5/4%.
