Akshan was last buffed in Patch 6.0 (). Across 12 patches, Akshan has received 8 buffs, 2 nerfs, 2 adjustments since release in Patch 2.4.

Abilities
Dirty FightingWR
Passive - Dirty Fighting

Innate: Akshan's basic attack fires an additional shot after a delay that deals (50% / minion 100%) AD physical damage. He will shoot the same target, else another target in range. He can cancel the shot to gain 40 - 120 (based on level) bonus movement speed decaying over 1 second.

The shot applies on-hit and on-attack effects, and is affected by critical strike modifiers.

Innate: Akshan's basic attacks on-hit and ability hits will inflict a stack onto enemies for 5 seconds, refreshing on subsequent hits and stacking up to 3 times. The third stack against a target consumes them all to deal them 25 - 180 (based on level) bonus magic damage; if the target is a champion, Akshan will also gain a 40 - 300 (based on level) (+ 40% bonus AD) shield lasting 2 seconds. The shield incurs a cooldown upon expiring, where it cannot generate again.

Range: 750 (+ 400 per hit)

Active: Akshan throws a boomerang in the target direction that deals physical damage to enemies hit, revealing them for 1 second and extending its range each time it hits a target. If this hits an enemy champion, Akshan gains 40% bonus movement speed decaying over 1 second.

Once the boomerang has passed its original range and has not hit an extension, it rebounds to Akshan and applies the same effects to enemies hit. Enemies can be hit only once per pass.

Avengerang deals reduced damage against minions.

Going RogueWR
Ability 2 - Going Rogue

Passive: Enemy champions that kill allied champions are marked as Scoundrels while they remain alive for 60 seconds. If Akshan scores a takedown against a Scoundrel while alive and within 3 seconds of damaging them, he receives an additional and after 1 second, resurrects all dead allied champions that they have slain.

Bonus Move Speed: 80 / 90 / 100 / 110%

When Akshan claims a Scoundrel's bounty he removes the marks of all other enemies. Scoundrels refresh their mark duration on subsequent kills. Allies are resurrected at their summoning platform.

Active: Akshan enters camouflage, which lasts indefinitely while he is near terrain or inside brush, and for 1.75 seconds otherwise. During this time. he sees trails leading toward Scoundrels. While facing them within 5000 -range, he gains bonus mana regeneration equal to 2% missing mana as well as bonus movement speed.

Recast: Going Rogue can recast after 1 second to end early, and does so automatically after the duration. Attacking or casting abilities ends Going Rogue immediately.

Akshan can move during the cast time.

Heroic SwingWR

Active: Akshan can activate Heroic Swing three times before the ability goes on cooldown, and can use the third cast only after 0.5 seconds of the second cast. Akshan must input a movement command to use the second cast.

Damage per Shot: 30 / 70 / 110 / 150 (+ 15% bonus AD)

First Cast: Akshan fires a hook in the target direction that embeds in the first terrain hit, then enters preparation for up to 2 seconds, during which he can second cast. Heroic Swing will cancel if the hook fails to attach or Akshan is moved, or becomes immobilized, grounded, or polymorphed during this time.

Second Cast: Akshan swings up to one circle around the terrain in the target direction, stopping upon hitting an enemy champion or terrain. While swinging, he fires at the nearest visible enemy every 0.2 seconds to deal them physical damage and apply on-hit effects for each shot, with on-hit damage reduced to 25% effect. The shots can critically strike for critical damage. Akshan will be knocked down by any immobilizing or polymorphing crowd control during the dash.

Third Cast: Akshan ends the swing and jumps to the target location (without crossing terrain), firing one last shot at a nearby visible enemy.

Scoring an enemy champion takedown will reset the cooldown.

Active: Akshan locks onto the target enemy champion and begins channeling for 3 seconds, revealing them as well as himself. He gradually stores bullets into his weapon over the duration.

Reload Frequency: 0.6 / 0.5 / 0.4 seconds

Comeuppance can be recast after 0.5 seconds, and does so automatically after the duration. Interruption will incur 50% cooldown.

Recast: Akshan fires all stored bullets at the target, each dealing physical damage to the first enemy hit, increased by 0% - 300% (based on level). The shots can hit turrets and will execute minions.

Akshan can move during Comeuppance.

While Akshan is performing well in laning phases, it’s not translating to the late game. We’re improving his survivability to give him room to make splashy plays in team fights.

Akshan is struggling to find his place in the meta, and we think he could be doing more damage, especially in the later stages of the game. So we’re giving this Rogue Sentinel some much needed buffs to boost his damage in the late game.

Going Rogue

  • Cooldown reduced from 18/14/10/6 seconds to 14/10/6/2.
  • New effect: During Going Rogue while Akshan is facing a Scoundrel within X units, he gains bonus mana regeneration equal to 2% of his missing mana.

Patch 2.6aNerf

Akshan players have a good grapple on his playstyle. He’s also been able to swing into multiple lanes, because of his fast waveclear and mid-game roams. We’re pulling some power out of his early game and mid-game spikes, so it makes it a bit more difficult for him to swing to victory.

  • Base attack damage reduced from 58 to 52.

  • Base damage reduced from 5/35/65/95 to 5/30/55/80.
Patch 2.5aNerf

As players have gained mastery over Akshan, he has been revealed as a stronger pick than he appeared on previous patches. We like keeping the bulk of Akshan’s power in medium-range combat, so we’re siphoning a small amount of power out of his ultimate to make it a little harder for him to pick enemies off after fights for easy revives.

Comeuppance

  • Bonus AD ratio reduced from 12.5% bonus AD to 10%.
  • Maximum bonus AD ratio reduced from 50% bonus AD to 40%.
Patch 2.5Buff

We now have the technology to make Akshan’s Heroic Swing feel better when used in obtuse (greater than 90°) angles. Also, here are some quality-of-life changes to help Akshan players make better decisions about his ultimate.

Heroic Swing

  • New Effect: Now slides along the wall if he hits it at an obtuse (>90°) angle mid-swing.

Comeuppance

  • New Effect: Now has an indicator that displays enemies within kill threshold.
  • Bug Fix: Tooltip now accurately states that shots execute minions.
Patch 2.4bBuff

Akshan is currently all bark and no bite, particularly with crit builds. We’re bringing up his baseline damage output and giving him some crit scaling to help out his late game.

  • Base damage increased from 5/30/55/80 to 5/35/65/95.

Heroic Swing

  • New Effect: Shots can now critically strike for 150% damage.

Comeuppance

  • New Effect: Damage is now increased by 0 to 50% (based on critical strike chance).
Patch 2.4aBuff

Our Rogue Sentinel is struggling quite a bit, so we are giving him a large dose of love to help him find his footing in Wild Rift.

Stats

  • Attack damage growth increased from 3.6 to 4.5.
  • Base mana increased from 345 to 390.
  • Base mana regeneration increased from 12 to 15.
  • Base attack speed bonus increased from 30% to 40%.

Dirty Fighting

  • Bonus movement speed increased from 40 to 80 (based on level) to 40 to 120 (based on level).

Avengerang

  • Mana cost reduced from 60/70/80/90 to 50/60/70/80.

Comeuppance

  • Coolodwn reduced from 90/75/60 seconds to 75/65/55.
  • New Effect: Shots will now execute minions.
