As a marksman, Lucian struggles to pose a significant threat to enemies in the mid-to-late game. To address this, we've made him more agile in mid-game fights while also boosting his damage for the later stages.

We’re adjusting Lucian's abilities to allow for better performance as a marksman.

Lightslinger
- New Innate - Vigilance: Whenever Lucian is healed or shielded by an ally ability, or an enemy champion within 1000 units is immobilized, his next two shots within 6 seconds are empowered to deal 20 (+ 20% AD) bonus magic damage on-hit. He can store up to 4 empowered shots at a time.
- Second shot AD ratio changed from 50/57.5/65% (at level 1/6/11) AD to 40/55/70% (at level 1/6/11) AD.
Ardent Blaze
- New Effect: Ally mark triggers now trigger Lightslinger.
Lucian is lagging behind his fellow marksmen. We’re making sure he can keep up with the rest of the pack.
Lightslinger
- Second shot AD ratio increased from 50/55/60% (at level 1/6/11) AD to 50/57.5/65% (at level 1/6/11) AD
Lucian has been falling off in the mid-to-late game. This change should allow him to apply marks more often and trigger his passive more often, leading to smoother and more impactful gameplay.
Ardent Blaze
- Cooldown reduced from 13/12/11/10 seconds to 13/11.5/10/8.5.
- Base damage increased from 75/120/165/210 to 75/125/175/225.
Lucian is another one who’s been off the mark lately. We’re hoping these changes will make for a stronger late game but still ensure he doesn’t overwhelm his opponents early on.

Recently we’ve added attack speed scaling for some of our other marksmen, so we want to bring the same to Lucian’s first ability!

- New effect: Cast time is now reduced by attack speed (max 140% AS) instead of champion level.
Lucian’s been under-target lately, so we’re making this marksman hit a little harder.

The systemic changes we’ve made in recent patches have favored Lucian, so much so that he’s become an extremely dominating force especially in early lanes. Our solucian to this, is to give his opponents a little more breathing room by increasing the cooldown on Piercing Light.

- Cooldown reduced from 80/70/60 seconds to 70/65/60.
Lucian has been underperforming and his current build and playstyle centers around his auto-attacks rather than his abilities. So, we’re giving him a small buff targeted towards his more caster-y builds.
Piercing Light
- Cooldown reduced from 9/8/7/6 seconds to 8/7/6/5.
Lucian is still underperforming in the Dragon Lane despite recent buffs, so we're increasing the damage of The Culling to bring him in line with other marksmen.
The Culling
- Base damage increased from 15/35/55 to 20/40/60.
After being nerfed and then his core items taking a hit too, Lucian’s ended up too weak. We’re giving him back a little power in his health and dash to put him in a more stable state.

Relentless Pursuit
- Cooldown reduced from 23/20/17/14 seconds to 22/19/16/13.
Lucian is overperforming in multiple lanes and scaling too well, so these changes tone down his overall scaling and make him a bit easier to catch when he’s playing aggressively.

Lucian is quickly tearing up the Rift. These changes to his core stats will make Lucian a bit less oppressive and level the playing field for his foes.
