We wanted to lend Ziggs a hand so that he could pack more of a punch, especially when he’s on the defense, so we’re giving him some more damage across the board.

After a series of nerfs, Ziggs is in a place where he could use a spark of help. We’re looking to light a fuse and give him the ability to cast more spells and also grant him some extra mana regeneration so he doesn’t need to invest in it so much.

Mega Inferno Bomb
- Cooldown reduced from 95/80/65 seconds to 85/75/65.
This Hexplosives Expert is still one of the most popular mages, especially in higher level play due to the power of his poke and ability to control areas during a fight. To tune down some of that power, we’re reducing the cooldown and duration of his Hexplosive Minefield.
Hexplosive Minefield
- Cooldown increased from 16 seconds to 18.
- Duration reduced from 7 seconds to 5.
Ziggs continues to bring hexplosive power in the Mid and Dragon Lane as a carry. We want him to keep that explosive damage. But his ability to control zones and choke points with his minefield has been too strong, so we’re cutting down on the duration to make him less powerful at controlling space around the Rift.

Ziggs’ fuses have been burning and causing massive explosions all across the Mid and Dragon Lane. We’re going a bit harder with our changes in hopes to curb some of his hexplosive power.

Ziggs is too powerful in the midgame where he can harass opponents and rotate around the map to demolish turrets more freely. We've retuned his passive base damage curve so it’s weaker in the midgame, but starts at the same value and scales to the same value at level 15.

Ziggs is still taking down towers a bit too quickly. While this is part of his identity, it has been extra destructive at higher levels of play, so we’re turning down his damage just a tad.

Ziggs’ Mega Inferno Bomb is pretty hard to hit sometimes, especially when it’s flying across the map, so we’re giving it a slight area-of-effect buff. On the other hand, he takes down turrets too quickly, so we’re pulling back a bit on his Satchel Charge execution.
