Samira was last buffed in Patch 6.1d (). Across 14 patches, Samira has received 10 buffs, 2 nerfs, 2 adjustments since release in Patch 3.3b.

Daredevil ImpulseWR
Passive - Daredevil Impulse

Innate: Samira's basic attack against an immobilized target will have an uncancellable windup and instead shoot a flurry of 6 strikes in 0.5 seconds. If the target is a monster or is airborne, the attack also knocks them up for 0.5 seconds. Samira will dash into her attack range of the target if they are nearby, though not through terrain.

The flurry will reset Samira's basic attack timer, is affected by critical strike modifiers, applies on-hit effects only once, and cannot occur on the same target more than once every few seconds.

Innate: Samira's basic attacks against targets in edge range 200 range use her blade, becoming non-projectile. Blade attacks post-hit, Blade Whirl, Wild Rush, and the slash and explosives of Flair deal 6 - 20 (based on level) (+ 3.5% - 10.5% (based on level) AD) bonus magic damage, increased by 0% - 100% (based on level).

Innate: Samira's damaging basic attacks and abilities against at least one enemy champion different from the previous damaging hit made against champions will generate a stack of Style lasting 6 seconds, refreshing on subsequent hits and stacking up to 6 times. Style: For each stack, Samira gains 4% bonus movement speed, up to 24%.

Active: Samira fires a shot in the target direction that deals physical damage to the first enemy hit.

Physical Damage: 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 (+ 0% AD)

If a targetable enemy is in front of Samira at the time of cast, she will instead slash with her blade in a cone, dealing the same damage to enemies hit.

If Flair is cast during Wild Rush, Samira will instead deploy explosives in her wake that detonate upon the end of the dash, dealing the same damage to enemies hit.

Active: Samira fluorishes her blade once, then again after 0.75 seconds, each dealing physical damage to nearby enemies. During this time she will destroy hostile non- turret projectiles within the area.

Samira cannot attack nor cast Flair during Blade Whirl. Casting Inferno Trigger will end Blade Whirl early.

Active: Samira dashes in the direction of the target enemy or enemy structure, dealing magic damage to enemies she passes through. She also gains bonus attack speed for 3 seconds.

Bonus Attack Speed: 35 / 40 / 45 / 50%

Wild Rush can be recast mid-dash to cast Flair.

Scoring a champion takedown within 3 seconds of damaging them will reset Wild Rush's cooldown.

Flair and Inferno Trigger can be cast during the dash. Casting Blade Whirl will buffer it to cast at the end of the dash.

Active: Samira unleashes a torrent of shots for 2.23 seconds, reducing her movement speed by 30% and rapidly shooting at nearby enemies over 2 seconds at sporadic times in 0.2 -second intervals each, dealing physical damage with each shot, reduced to 25% against minions. Each shot can critically strike.

A nearby visible enemy is required to cast this ability, and targets do not have to be visible to be shot at. Daredevil Impulse stacks are consumed at the end of the effect.

Samira cannot attack nor cast Flair and Blade Whirl during Inferno Trigger, but she can still move. Inferno Trigger will end prematurely by all forms of cast-inhibiting crowd control as well as disarm.

Damage from Samira is noticeably lower than other marksmen, especially during the mid-game. We’re boosting the damage from her ult to ensure she keeps up.

Samira hasn’t been keeping up with her opponents. We’re increasing her opportunities for damage with these changes to make sure she can catch up.

  • Base damage per 0.2 seconds reduced from 5/15/25 to 5/20/35.

After the last patch, Samira has stepped up against her enemies considerably. We’re tweaking her numbers slightly to make sure she doesn’t snowball out of control if she is to gain an early advantage.

As a marksman, Samira is underperforming, especially against tanks in teamfights. We’re tweaking her ultimate numbers some so she can make a dent in a sea of Heartsteels and Titanic Hydras.

Samira does well early on, but falls off mid and late game. We’re giving her a little boost to make sure her impact keeps up with her confidence.

Samira has been struggling when going up against her foes in the Dragon Lane. Since she’s a marksman who needs to look for engages, rather than playing it safe and farming from afar, we feel Samira is not dealing the amount of damage she should for the risk she has to take. So we’re increasing some of her damage so that she is rewarded for the risky plays she needs to make to give her the advantage over her foes.

  • Bonus movement speed per stack increased from 2.5% to 3.5%.

Flair

  • Base damage increased 10/15/20/25 to 15/20/25/30.
  • AD ratio increased from 80/95/110/125% AD 90/105/120/135%.

Inferno Trigger

  • Mana cost reduced from 100/50/0 to 60/30/0.
  • AD ratio increased from 50% AD to 55%.
Patch 4.3aBuff

Compared to other marksmen Samira has a shorter attack range, so we want to empower her to use her abilities to avoid damage in fights. Which we think that will give her the edge she needs in those duels against foes with longer range.

Blade Whirl

  • Cooldown reduced from 30/27/24/21 seconds to 26/23.5/21/18.5.

This Desert Rose is performing below our expectations across all levels of play. So, we’re increasing the damage dealt by her Flair ability to bring her more in line with fellow marksmen.

Since her release, Samira has been struggling compared to her peers. To help her out, we’re giving her a much needed tune-up so that she can shine in style alongside her peers.
