Passive - Call of the Freljord

Innate: Nunu & Willump gain 40% bonus attack speed and 15% bonus movement speed for 4 seconds upon damaging an enemy champion, large monster or structure.

A nearby allied champion with the highest attack speed gains half this bonus.

Call of the Freljord cannot trigger on the same enemy again for some time.

Active: Willump takes a bite out of the target enemy, dealing magic damage and healing himself. The healing is increased by 50% while he is below 50% maximum health.

Against minions and monsters, he instead deals true damage. Additionally, if Consume would kill the target minion or small or medium monster, Willump devours the target, stunning and pulling them towards him over the cast time.

Active: Willump cleanses himself from all slows and channels for up to 12 seconds, becoming slow-immune and creating a rolling snowball. Willump automatically navigates his movement in the movement direction and can steer the snowball with a slow turn rate. The duo have their movement speed reduced by 50% for the first 1 second, but after a delay they start gaining movement speed every 0.25 seconds, up to a cap.

Minimum Magic Damage: 35 / 48 / 61 / 74 (+ 30% AP)
Maximum Magic Damage: 175 / 240 / 305 / 370 (+ 150% AP)

The snowball increases in size and power over the first 5 seconds. Biggest Snowball Ever! can be recast after 0.5 seconds during the channel, and does so automatically after the channel or if interrupted.

The snowball explodes upon hitting an enemy champion, large pet, medium / large monster or terrain, dealing magic damage to nearby enemies, increased by 0 / 0 to 400 for 5%, and knocking them up for 0.5 - 1.25 seconds (based on charge time).

The snowball rolls over enemy minions and small monsters hit, dealing 33.33% of the damage as magic damage.

Recast: Willump releases the snowball, sending it rolling forward up to a maximum distance during which it will not grow any larger and will explode upon hitting an enemy.

Active: Nunu channels for up to 2.5 seconds, hurling 17 snowballs that deal magic damage and slow by 20% for 0.5 seconds. Each snowball shatters upon hitting an enemy, dealing the same effects to enemies in a cone behind the target.

Maximum Monster Damage: 150 / 200 / 250 / 300

Recast: When the channel ends, Willump deals magic damage to nearby enemies equal to 3% - 15% (+-3.2% per 100 AP) of target's maximum health (based on snowballs hit) and roots them for 0.5 seconds.

Snowball Barrage deals 150% damage to monsters, but the total recast damage is capped against them.

Willump can move while channeling.

Nunu & Willump are having lots of fun together in the jungle but they haven’t been able to go on as many adventures in the lanes. These changes will help them clear the jungle camps faster, freeing up the Boy and the Yeti to join the fun elsewhere!

We’ve missed seeing our favorite Yeti roaming through the jungle, and we think it's time we give Nunu and Willump a slight push to get them out of their icy hideaway and back onto the Rift where they can school enemies on the true might of a well-thrown snowball.

Compared to their fellow jungle peers, Nunu & Willump are underperforming. To give this icy duo some more safety and clear speed while traversing the jungle, we’re reducing Consume’s cooldown.

Nunu & Willump have a rather steep mastery curve; it turns out that piloting snowballs through the Rift is not as easy as it looks. They’ve been performing for players that put in the time to master them but we want everyone to have the chance to become master snowball pilots. We also feel that their Ability Power build has some room to grow, so we focused our adjustments to those parts of this icy duo’s kit.

Patch 2.6Nerf

Nunu and Willump have snowballed their way to the top again, this time due to some recent buffs to tanks in general. We’re going to preserve the power that the boy and his yeti have gained from itemization changes but cut down slightly on how fast they can clear the jungle and eat through objectives in order to balance out this new strength.

Nunu & Willump added to Wild Rift

Nunu & Willump’s power levels have snowballed out of control after their release. As players have grown to understand the boy and his yeti, they’ve grown to be a menace for players of all skill levels, so we’re lowering their survivability and clear speed.
