Riven is currently performing poorly in Baron lane, but carving it up in the jungle. We're trying to bring both of her roles more in line with each other by improving her early phases in the Baron lane, while nerfing her jungling efficiency.
Broken Wings
- Base damage increased from 20/45/70/95 to 30/55/80/105.
- Damage against monsters reduced from 100% to 70%.
Valor
- Base shield increased from 75/110/145/180 to 85/120/155/190.
Stats
- Base armor increased from 40 to 46.
- Base health increased from 650 to 690.
- Health growth increased from 115 to 120.
- Magic resistance growth increased from 1.6 to 2.
Just because she has a broken blade doesn’t mean she should be hitting like a wet paper towel. Now she will be able to pop off against whomever stands against her.

- Bonus attack damage increased from 20% AD to 25%.

Blade of the Exile
- New effect: Scoring a champion takedown will reset the number of casts of Wind Slash, as well as extend the duration by 3 seconds, extending up to 12 seconds.
Riven hasn’t been able to wield her broken blade in full effectiveness against her opponents. We’re making some adjustments so that she can play a more scrappy style and fight for more early advantages.

- Cooldown reduced from 10/9/8/7 seconds to 8.5/8/7.5/7.
We’ve noticed that Riven is struggling during the laning phase in the Baron Lane. To lend her a hand we’re giving her damage and boost, while also adjusting her damage to monsters so that she doesn’t become too strong in the jungle.

- Base movement speed increased from 335 to 345.
Riven has been a menace in higher levels of play while also still struggling to find her footing in other levels of play. Since our previous attempts at reducing the defenses her abilities grant her and increasing her passive defenses were effective at reducing this gap, we’re going back for round three.

- Shield AD ratio reduced from 100% AD to 90%.
Riven’s strength for most players is below where we’d like it to be, so we're giving her more durability to make it a little easier to execute on her gameplay in the later parts of the game.

Riven’s Valor is a powerful tool for both repositioning and soaking damage. This on-demand power has led to Riven being too dominant for the players who have mastered her, while not quite strong enough for others, so we’re bringing up some defensive base stats in exchange for a weaker shield.

- Duration reduced from 15 seconds to 12.

Riven still struggles in all but the highest levels of play. We are increasing her shield duration to make her Valor timing more forgiving.

- Shield duration increased from 1.5 seconds to 2.
Riven has been struggling everywhere except for in the highest levels of play. We are cautiously giving her some leeway so she's not exiled from the laning phase after a trade gone wrong.

- Base health regeneration increased from 7.5 to 9.
- Health regeneration growth increased from 0.55 to 0.68.
Riven is overperforming in multiple roles, so we’re taking this opportunity to cut down on two big points of frustration for playing against Riven: her early game damage output and the uptime on her defensive abilities.
