Patch 3.1

Nerf

Deadman’s Plate has been a staple item in fighter and tank builds for a long time. Even with changes to other items over time, the map mobility and chasing power Dead Man’s offers is just too strong. We're cutting back on some of the mobility this item offers so that it’s not a must pick item every game.

Unique passive - Momentum

  • Maximum bonus movement speed reduced from 50 to 40.

Patch 2.3

Nerf

Dead Man’s Plate is too strong overall given its high utility, so we are tuning down some of its generic tank power to lighten its impact.

General

  • Health reduced from 300 to 250.

Patch 2.2

Buff

As above, with a new build path, Dead Man’s Plate is the go-to tank item for speedy engagements.

New Recipe:

  • Winged Moonplate + Chain Vest + 1000 gold = 2900 gold.
  • Old Recipe: Chain Vest + Giant's Belt + 1000 gold = 2900 gold.

New Unique Passive - Relentless:

  • +5% movement speed.

Patch 2.1

New

Dead Man's Plate added to Wild Rift

Unique passive - Momentum

  • Removed: Basic attacks no longer convert Momentum into bonus magic damage on-hit.
  • Basic attacks will still remove all Momentum stacks.
