Passive: Each time Kassadin or a nearby champion casts an ability, he generates a stack of Force Pulse, stacking up to 6 times, upon which the next cast becomes empowered to consume them all.

While Kassadin can be frustrating to play against, his win rates have been on the lower side. So, we’re lending him a hand, and giving some of his abilities a boost to make sure he doesn’t get lost in the void.

Null Sphere

  • Cooldown reduced from 11/10/9/8 seconds to 10/9/8/7.
Patch 3.5Change

Kassadin has been harder to master, but is still a force to be reckoned with in the right hands. We’re giving a slight boost to his base health so players have a little more room for error, while also pulling back on the damage amp that Force Pulse grants. Looks like the force won’t be with him after all.

Stats

  • Base health increased from 570 to 600.

Force Pulse

  • Damage amplification reduced from 60% to 40%.
Patch 3.4aNerf

This Void Walker has been extremely powerful in higher levels of play, so we’re reducing both the frequency at which he can restore mana with Nether Blade and adjusting his ultimate, so he can’t Riftwalk all over his foes to victory.

Nether Blade

  • Cooldown increased from 8 seconds to 10.

Riftwalk

  • Mana ratio reduced from 2% maximum mana to 1.5%.

Our previous nerfs were powerless against Kassadin as he is still overperforming in higher levels of play, so we’re reducing how frequently he can silence and burst down his enemies.

Null Sphere

  • Cooldown increased from 10/9/8/7 seconds 11/10/9/8.
  • Base damage reduced from 80/145/210/275 to 70/135/200/265.
Patch 3.3bNerf

Since emerging onto the Rift, Kassadin has been doing better than expected so we’re reducing his durability to better fit his ultra high mobility assassin gameplay.

Stats

  • Health reduced from 610 to 570.
  • Health growth reduced from 115 to 105.
