Vi was last buffed in Patch 6.2c (). Across 15 patches, Vi has received 11 buffs, 1 nerf, 3 adjustments since release in Patch 1.1.

Denting BlowsWR
Passive - Denting Blows

Innate: Vi's basic attacks on-hit and Vault Breaker will inflict a stack of Denting Blows to enemies hit for 4 seconds, refreshing on subsequent hits and stacking up to 3 times. The third stack consumes them all to deal bonus physical damage equal to 4.8% - 9% (based on level) (+ 3% per 100 bonus AD) target's maximum health, capped at 300 against non-champions, then inflict 20% armor reduction for 4 seconds.

After consuming Denting Blows, Vi gains 27% - 55% (based on level) bonus attack speed for 4 seconds.

Range: 250 - 725 (based on level)

Active: Vi charges while being slowed by 15% for up to 4 seconds to increase Vault Breaker's range, speed, and damage over the first 1.25 seconds of the channel. Vault Breaker can be recast within the duration. Interruption will incur a 3-second cooldown.

Minimum Physical Damage: 60 / 95 / 130 / 165 (+ 80% bonus AD)
Maximum Physical Damage: 120 / 190 / 260 / 330 (+ 160% bonus AD)

Recast: Vi dashes in the target direction to deal physical damage to enemies hit, increased by 0% - 100% (based on level), and pull all non-champions hit towards her. She stops upon hitting enemy champions, knocking them back over 0.75 seconds.

Vault Breaker deals 75% damage against monsters.

Passive: Vi's basic attacks and ability hits generate up to one stack for 5 seconds, which refreshes on subsequent hits and stacks up to 5 times. Stacks expire by one every 5 seconds.

Shield Strength: 60 / 85 / 110 / 135 (+ 0.1% maximum health per stack)

Active: Vi gains a shield lasting 3 seconds. If she consumed maximum stacks, she also gains 47% bonus movement speed.

Active: Vi empowers her next basic attack within 8 seconds to have an uncancellable windup, gain 75 bonus range and trigger a blast in the target's direction that deals bonus physical damage to enemies hit in a cone.

Physical Damage: 20 / 45 / 70 / 95 (+ 15% AD) (+ 70% AP)

Vi periodically stocks a Relentless Force charge, up to a maximum of 2.

Relentless Force resets Vi's basic attack timer.

Active: Vi singles out the target enemy champion and dashes with displacement immunity towards them, during which they are revealed. Upon approaching within 300-units, she dashes through and grabs them, knocking them up for 1.25 seconds and dealing physical damage after 0.75 seconds.

Physical Damage: 150 / 300 / 450 (+ 140% bonus AD)

Enemies she dashes through are dealt 75% of the damage, knocked aside by 350 units over 0.25 seconds, and stunned for 0.75 seconds.

Vi is another jungler that relies heavily on game pace. She is not performing to her expectations in early and mid games, so we’re boosting her accordingly.

Denting Blows

  • Health ratio increased from 4.3 to 8.5% (based on level) target's maximum health to 4.8 to 9% (based on level).

Vault Breaker

  • Base damage increased from 55/90/125/160 to 60/95/130/165.

  • Base health increased from 650 to 690.
  • Health growth increased from 105 to 112.
  • Magic resistance growth increased from 1.6 to 2.

Vi has not been performing up to par, especially in the early game. These changes will make sure she packs a punch!

All that armor on her isn’t just for looks! It should mean something, so we’re buffing Vi’s survivability to make sure she can go toe to toe with any enemy Junglers that come her way.

While Vi’s “punch first, ask questions while punching” attitude makes her a fearsome foe to encounter while you’re in the jungle alone, she lacks that same fighting power in teamfights. So, we’re giving her a buff to her cooldown speed which will provide her more displacement possibilities in team fights.
