En Garde! We’ve reworked the Duelist’s weak spot mechanic to allow frequent weak spot hits in late-game teamfights. The passive now marks enemies’ vital points more quickly, and the ultimate removes the activation delay— now Fiora is able to break vital points immediately. The movement speed of Lunge also now scales with move speed, increasing flexibility after multiple vital hits. The range for targeting vitals has been increased, and you can now select neutral temporary targets.
Duelist's Dance
- Vital cooldown increased from 1.75 seconds to 2/1.75/1.5/1.25 (at level 0/1/2/3) (based on Grand Challenge's Rank).
Lunge
- Base damage reduced from 85/95/105/115 to 75/85/95/105.
- Editor's Note: Patch notes error writes 75/85/95/10 instead of 75/85/95/105.
- New effect: Dash speed now scales with movement speed.
- New effect: Can now hit lower priority targets including wards, traps, and Honeyfruit.
- New effect: Stab gains increased range against Vitals.
Grand Challenge
- Removed: Vitals no longer have a 0.5-second delay.
- New effect: Casting will overwrite any vitals on the target.

We are making sure all of Fiora’s abilities can flow together smoothly. Riposte can now be cast during Fiora's dash in Lunge.

Fiora’s performance has been subpar, not a good look for a Grand Duelist! With these increases in her base damage, she should have an easier time establishing her dominance in the early game.

Recently we made changes to Hullbreaker, and those changes ended up impacting Fiora’s ability to solo push lanes in the later stages of the game. So we’re adjusting her first ability and giving it a new mechanic so that she can be a bigger split-pushing threat.
Lunge
- New effect: Can now hit turrets.
We’re sharpening Fiora, the Grand Duelist’s fencing finesse, so that she can display speedier swordplay in the duels she takes versus her foes.

Demacia’s star duelist hasn’t been performing as well as we’d like her to in the Baron Lane. To lend her a hand, we’re going to sharpen her up and increase Fiora’s durability in the later stages of the game, to allow her to thrive better during teamfights.

Since our recent nerfs to the range of Lunge, Fiora has been struggling to keep up with her fellow sparring partners in the Baron Lane. To lend her a hand, we’re increasing her early game survivability and damage she deals with Lunge to compensate for her loss in utility.

- Base damage increased from 75/85/95/105 to 85/95/105/115.
Fiora’s ability to make safe trades with Lunge and shrug off damage with Riposte has been a source of frustration for her sparring partners. To combat some of those frustrations, we’re reducing the range on her Lunge while also increasing the power of her passive to compensate.

Fiora has been dominating in both the Baron Lane and the jungle in higher level play, and has been frustrating for players of all skill levels to play against. Laning against the queen of duelists is where a lot of this frustration stems from so we are weakening Lunge’s damage, which should allow her to still shine in her duels later on, but give her lane opponents some more openings.

Fiora just wants a worthy opponent, but recently she hasn’t been giving her opponents enough opportunities for a fair duel. We’re increasing the cooldown of Riposte to give those who want to challenge her to a duel more chances to play around her vulnerabilities.
Riposte
- Cooldown increased from 13/12/11/10 seconds to 18/16/14/12.
Fiora is slightly over performing, so we’re nudging down her base health. This should give her slightly less room for error in her early duels.

Fiora added to Wild Rift
As a duelist, Fiora actually didn’t measure up to some of the other solo lane champions in Wild Rift, so we gave her a big boost to everything. En garde!
