Veigar’s laning phase is a bit worse than we’d like. We’re making some small adjustments to his stats to help him out early, but won’t affect his scaling.

While this Tiny Master of Evil loves to lock down his foes and show them the definition of pain, it has been frustrating to play against for some time. To give his opponents some breathing room, we’re pulling back on how often Veigar is able to lock them down.
Event Horizon
- Cooldown increased from 16/15/14/13 seconds to 18/17/16/15.
After recent buffs, it turns out we made this mastermind a bit too evil, as Veigar has grown into one of the most dominant mages in the mid lane. We’re shaving off some of his generic power to bring him more in line with other mages.

Veigar has been struggling to show his opponents the true definition of pain, especially in higher levels of play. To address this, we’re increasing the stun duration provided by Event Horizon, while also reducing the cooldown of Baleful Strike. This should allow this mastermind the ability to lock down his foes for longer, while also help him achieve that late game scaling fantasy.

- Stun duration increased from 1.5/1.75/2/2.25 seconds to 1.75/2/2.25/2.5.
This tiny Master of Evil has been struggling to keep up with the other mages in the Mid Lane, particularly in high level play. We’re reducing the cooldown of Event Horizon to give Veigar more opportunities to lock down his foes and blow them up with dark magic, all while laughing maniacally at them.

Veigar is our tiny master of evil, but he is falling a bit short on showing other mid laners just how evil he really is. We’re boosting his baseline stats and damage to help perform better in lane so he can show his foes just how evil he really is. NYEHEHEHE!
