Stormsurge is now a stronger early-to-mid-game option for burst mages. It provides flat Magic Penetration while enhancing roaming potential and rewarding quick eliminations through its Squall passive.

Stormraider

Availability:

  • Hextech ARAM.

Recipe:

  • Aether Wisp + Amplifying Tome + Blasting Wand + 1638 gold = 3988 gold.

Stats:

  • 100 ability power, 7% magic penetration, 15 magic penetration, 5% movement speed.

Unique Passive - Stormraider:

  • Dealing damage to an enemy champion equal to 35% of their maximum health within 2.5 seconds will inflict them with Squall and grant you 20% bonus movement speed for 2 seconds (20 second cooldown).

Unique Passive - Squall:

  • After 1.5 seconds of having applied Squall, strike the target with lightning, dealing 120 (+ 20% AP) magic damage to them. If the target dies before being struck, they emit an electric field instantly that shocks nearby enemy champions, dealing the same damage and granting you 25 gold.
  • Limited to 1 Stormsurge.
