We’re adjusting the price of Morellonomicon and giving it health so that we can even out the utility and stats it provides.

General

  • Total cost increased from 2500 gold to 2600 gold.
  • Combine cost increased from 700 gold to 800 gold.
  • Health increased from 0 to 150.

Unique Passive - Affliction

  • Grievous Wounds increased from 40% to 50%.

Nerf

Live Morellonomicon has been incorrectly giving 75 Ability Power when it was intended to be 70, and it could also use a small nerf, so we’re going to move it back to its intended value.

Patch 3.5

Change

Now that we have Soulstealer in the penetration category, we can unbind Morellonomicon from that category, which will make it more accessible for enchanters and mages that don’t want to invest in only damage items. This less expensive item should be an easy way for Ability Power champions to counter healing in situations where they need it, without breaking the bank.

New recipe:

  • Fiendish Codex + Oblivion Orb + 700 gold = 2500 gold.
  • Old recipe: Oblivion Orb + Prophet's Pendant + 950 gold = 3000 gold.
  • Ability haste increased from 0 to 20.
  • Ability power increased from 65 to 75.
  • Editor's note: Patch notes error write "70" instead of "75". Referenced in V4.0.
  • Health reduced from 150 to 0.

Unique passive - Death Touch

  • Removed.

  • Total cost reduced from 3000 gold to 2700 gold.
  • Combine cost reduced from 950 gold to 900 gold.
  • Ability power reduced from 70 to 65.
  • Health reduced from 300 to 150.

Unique passive - Affliction

  • Unique passive renamed to Affliction from Cursed.
  • Grievous Wounds reduced from 50% to 40%.
  • New Effect: Grievous Wounds is increased to 60% against enemies below 50% of their maximum health.
