This explorer is struggling to make an impact, especially when compared to his peers. These changes will make his earlier game stronger, helping with those early scraps in the Dragon Lane.

While we adjusted a lot of stats for marksmen last patch, we didn't make any adjustments to Ezreal’s base stats. We’re noticing that because of this he is falling slightly behind other marksmen, so we’ve mapped out some buffs that we think will help this explorer out.

Mystic Shot doesn’t hit as hard as we want it to, especially in the early part of the laning pase, so we’re giving Ezreal a small damage buff to lend him a hand.

Ezreal’s damage has been lacking a bit. We want him to shift his way back into that premier caster marksman spot, so we’re giving him some more damage on his Mystic Shot.

Ezreal’s too slippery in the early game, so we’re adding a little more downtime to his primary escape tool.

Ezreal has been slightly weak since our last round of nerfs. Reverting the nerf to his (1) Mystic Shot we did back in Patch 1.1 to help him catch up.

Ezreal has been dishing out strong damage while staying safe—a little too safe. We’ve pulled back his damage a little more and increased his (3) Arcane Shift cooldown so jumping into a fight is riskier.

Ezreal added to Wild Rift
Ezreal was underperforming because his “Blue Build” wasn’t giving him much damage, and he was getting outclassed by basic-attacking marksmen. We updated his recommended items and runes, and buffed (1) Mystic Shot, his main damage output ability.
