Passive - Feline Friendship

Innate: While You and Me! to an ally, Yuumi grants them 2 permanent Friendship stacks for killing enemy champions and minions. The ally with the highest Friendship stacks becomes the Best Friend: Yuumi's abilities are empowered while attached to them. Norra will not gain stacks, but is automatically deemed Best Friend.

Innate: Periodically, Yuumi's next basic attack or ability hit against enemy champions will heal her for 67 - 165 (based on level) (+ 25% AP). If she is You and Me! within 4 seconds, the Anchor is healed for the same amount.

The basic attack has an uncancellable windup, gains 50 bonus range and becomes non-projectile. Final Chapter hits on ally champions will also trigger Feline Friendship.

Active - Hold: Yuumi conjures an errant missile in front of her that flies in the target direction for 2.25 seconds, dealing magic damage to the first enemy hit. While the missile is in-flight, she can steer it while still able to move, as well as recast Prowling Projectile multiple times. Recast - Hold: Yuumi continues steering the missile.

You and Me! Bonus: After 0.75 seconds in-flight, the missile gains increased damage, and slows for 1 second against champions.

Prowling Projectile deals a maximum of 120 - 370 (based on level) magic damage against monsters.

Feline Friendship Bonus: The missile will always inflict the slow, and hitting a champion will grant her Best Friend bonus magic damage on-hit for 5 seconds.

Passive: While Yuumi is attached, she is untargetable (except by turrets and inbound projectiles) and casts her abilities from the Anchor's position, empowering them with additional effects.

Active: Yuumi channels for 0.25 seconds, then dashes to the target allied champion and attaches to them upon arrival. The cooldown starts upon completing the channel. You and Me! can be recast after 0.5 seconds.

Recast - Change of Plan: Yuumi detaches from her Anchor and dashes to the target allied champion to attach to them, refreshing the recast. She will detach automatically if her Anchor dies or under certain circumstances *. If recast without a valid target, Yuumi will detach and dash 250-units in the target direction, placing You and Me! on a 0.25 -second cooldown if it is not already on cooldown.

The dash will be knocked down by any immobilizing or polymorphing crowd control. You and Me! is placed on a 5-second cooldown if Yuumi becomes immobilized, grounded, or polymorphed.

Active: Yuumi and Book of Thresholds channel for up to 3.5 seconds to launch 7 magical waves in the target direction. Allied champions hit by the waves are healed. Excess healing is converted into a shield lasting until 3 seconds after the ability ends.

Feline Friendship - New Innate

  • Removed: No longer grants herself or the Anchor adaptive force.

Zoomies

  • Cooldown changed from 12/11/10/9 seconds to 10 at all ranks.
  • Bonus move speed increased from 15% to 20%.
  • Removed: Bonus movement speed no longer scales with AP.
  • Removed: No longer grants healing.
  • New Effect: Now shields for 70/100/130/160 (+ 30% AP) for 3 seconds.
  • New Effect: Bonus movement speed now lasts as long as the shield persists, instead of 3 seconds.
  • New Effect: Bonus attack speed now scales with (+ 8% per 100 AP).

Final Chapter

  • Subsequent damage changed from 50% to 20/30/40 (+ 5% AP).
  • New Effect: Can now steer the direction of the waves while attached.
  • New Effect: Now slows enemies hit by 10% for 1.25 seconds, increased by 10% per subsequent wave against the same target.
  • New Effect: Now heals the Anchor and allies hit for 20/30/40 (+ 5% AP) per wave. Excess healing is converted into a shield lasting until 3 seconds after the ability ends.
  • Removed: No longer roots champions hit by 3 waves for 1.25 seconds.

Yuumi is a superstar in supporting her Marksmen. We’re slightly decreasing her buffs to her best friend to leave room for her enemies to fight back.

Yuumi has been protecting her best friends a little too well. These changes will make sure she’s measuring up against her opponents and allows players to have more decision making power when it comes to her abilities.

Your best friend in the Dragon Lane is getting some changes. With a new passive and some tweaks to her ratios, she will be able to zoom faster and longer with her bestie!

  • Base shield increased from 60 to 410 (based on level) to 60 to 200 (based on level).
  • Cooldown changed from 18/15/12/9 (at level 1/5/9/13) seconds to 18 at all ranks.

  • Bonus attack damage changed from 7.5/9/10.5/12 (+ 8/11/14/17% Anchor's bonus AD) to 8/14/20/26 (+ 5.25 to 8.75% (based on level)).
  • Bonus ability power changed from 15/18/21/24 (+ 8/11/14/17% Anchor's AP) to 16/28/40/52 (+ 5.25 to 8.75% (based on level)).

Yuumi is one of the best friends you can have in the Dragon Lane. She has been overwhelming opponents with her poke so we’ve adjusted some numbers to make her less oppressive to lane against.

Players have spoken with their bans, and the bans say this cat is often off the table. Fur now, we’re reducing the effectiveness of Yuumi’s poke damage and some of the furr-ee value she gives to her attached ally to make playing against this feline less frustrating.

The start of 3.4 brought many large-scale changes to everyone’s favorite feline, Yuumi, including a limit to the duration of her passive. After reviewing her performance and gameplay since the changes, we’re reverting her passive shield duration to be indefinite as we don’t feel this duration change has resulted in better gameplay around her passive.

Patch 3.4Nerf

Yuumi has been in an unfur-tunate position since her release. She’s been frustrating for many players to go up against, but not particularly good at winning games. She also required a lot of in-and-out gameplay that Yuumi players weren’t attached to, so we’re trying a different approach with the cat for this version. Yuumi is now no longer tied to her passive to restore mana to fuel her massive mana cost for her heal, but will generally have less power, particularly outside of combat. She will also have more frequent poke earlier in the game, but won’t be able to use her passive shield to mitigate enemy harassment as much. The goal of these changes is to make Yuumi less frustrating to play against, but allow Yuumi enjoyers to feel more comfortable enhancing their ally of choice without feeling immense pressure to constantly bop her foes to get the most out of her passive.

Yuumi has shown to be a fur-midable and frustrating foe, especially for highly optimized players. For now, we’re bringing down her defensive outputs while we continue to work on a long term solution.

Recently, Yuumi has been a ferocious force in the Dragon Lane, so we’re taking back some of the chin scratches and a previous buff we gave her that allowed her to interact and mitigate damage more often.

Since her release, this cuddly cat has been having a rough time finding her place in the Dragon Lane. We held off on buffs initially because we wanted to give players time to adjust to her unique playstyle, but it’s clear now that even the most dedicated Yuumi players are struggling. We’re giving her more reasons to take her claws out and play around her Prowling Projectile rather than only focusing on giving her allies the Zoomies.
