Karma is a breeze in my hair on the weekend, Karma is a relaxing thought… and she’s also doing too much damage early game. We’re adjusting her burst damage so there will be options for outplays as she has to kite for more damage with a lower cooldown on her shield.

Karma has been having a hard time keeping up with other mages. We’re giving her some buffs across the board to help her be a more valuable and competitive choice in the mid lane.

When compared to other Mid Lane and support mages, Karma is struggling to keep up with them in both the damage and protection department. So, we’re adjusting her main source of damage, and buffing the amount of shields she can give her allies in the later stages of the game.

Despite several nerfs, Karma still remains one of the top performing supports for players who have taken the time to master her. We’re looking to bring down some of her powerful utility this time, so we’re increasing the cooldown on her tether to limit her from casting it twice per fight and reducing the movement speed from non-Mantra Inspire to reduce the amount of power Karma gets when investing Mantra into her other spells.

As players have mastered Karma, she’s shown to be slightly too dominant in the laning phase but more critically, far too strong at protecting her allies in the later stages of the game. So, we’re bringing down these two key aspects to keep Karma’s overall power focused more on her strengths of disruption, rather than shielding her teammates.

This enlightened Ionian continues to perform well above her fellow enchanters, particularly in how much damage and disruption she’s able to dish out during the mid-game, so we’re reducing some of that power.

- Slow reduced from 50% to 35%.
Karma’s release balance was close to where we want her to be for the long-term, but she’s doing too much damage in the mid-game. We’re tipping the scales, and lowering Inner Flame’s Mantra bonus damage to make her less of a damage threat since she has so much other powerful utility in her kit.
