Ability DetailsFull kit, stats, and scaling
Doom 'n GloomWR
Passive - Doom 'n Gloom
Effect Radius: 1600

Passive - Doom: Periodically, Vex empowers her next basic ability to knock down and fear enemies hit for 0.75 / 1 / 1.25 / 1.5 seconds, during which they are slowed by 60% + 3.9% for every 55 units away from Vex. If Looming Darkness 2 triggers Doom, enemies hit will flee from the epicenter instead. Doom's cooldown resets upon respawning.

Innate - Gloom: Nearby enemy champions and monsters that dash or blink will be marked with Gloom for 6 seconds. Vex's next basic attack (which becomes non-projectile), or basic ability hit against an enemy with Gloom will detonate the mark. Looming Darkness will also inflict Gloom, but cannot detonate it.

Gloom's detonation deals 26 - 166 (based on level) (+ 25% AP) bonus magic damage and refunds 25% of Doom's total cooldown. Against non-champions, this instead deals 40% / 50% / 60% / 70% damage and refunds 10% of the cooldown.

Vex Changes

Patch 6.1b

Buff

Vex relies heavily on her ultimate and early tempo, but falls off late game. We're lowering the cooldowns of her major damaging abilities and improving passive scaling to boost her consistency in teamfights, making sure Vex can still consistently deal damage even without her ult.

Doom 'n Gloom

  • Base damage increased from 24 to 136 (based on level) to 26 to 166 (based on level).
  • AP ratio increased from 20% AP to 25%.

Mistral Bolt

  • Cooldown reduced from 8/7/6/5 seconds to 7/6/5/4.

Patch 6.1

Buff

Stats

  • Base movement speed increased from 350 to 360.

Patch 6.0c

Buff

We’re improving Vex’s laning ability and reducing the cooldown of her ultimate. This will allow her to effectively vex her foes by roaming to their lanes more in the mid-game and help her fill the role as her team’s playmaker better.

Mistral Bolt

  • Base damage increased from 50/110/170/230 to 60/120/180/240.

Shadow Surge

  • Cooldown reduced from 90/80/70 seconds to 80/70/60.

Patch 6.0

Buff

Stats

  • Base armor increased from 30 to 34.
  • Base health increased from 610 to 660.
  • Base magic resistance increased from 30 to 36.
  • Armor growth increased from 4.3 to 4.5.
  • Health growth increased from 105 to 120.
  • Magic resistance growth increased from 0.8 to 1.2.

Patch 4.4

Buff

Personal Space

  • New effect: Cast time no longer locks movement.

Patch 4.2

Buff

Stats

  • Base movement speed increased from 335 to 345.

Patch 3.5a

Change

Doom 'n Gloom

  • Bug fix: Fixed an issue where enemies feared by several Doom abilities could be slowed permanently.

Patch 3.5

Nerf

Since her release Vex has been on the strong side, so we’re trimming some power away from Looming Darkness to make it a little more difficult for her to snowball in lane or through those mid-game skirmishes while preserving her fun high moments…or whatever.

Looming Darkness

  • Cooldown increased from 12 seconds to 13.
  • Mana cost increased from 70/80/90/100 to 80/90/100/110.
