- Replaces Youmuu's Ghostblade (Light).
Patch 5.1a
NerfWe’re adjusting the amount of Armor Penetration Youmuu’s grants so it’s a more desirable choice when facing a team that is stacking armor.
Unique Passive - Momentum
- Armor penetration reduced from 5 to 10 (based on level) to 3 to 6 (based on level).

ChangeGeneral
- Replaces Youmuu's Ghostblade.
Recipe:
- Serrated Dirk + Caulfield's Warhammer + 1000 gold = 3200 gold.
Stats:
- 15 ability haste, 55 attack damage.
Unique Passive - Slice:
- +15 armor penetration.
Unique Passive - Momentum:
- Your movement generates stacks of Momentum, which decays while movement is impaired. Each stack grants 0.4 bonus move speed, stacking up to 100 times for 50 bonus move speed, upon which you also gain 5 to 10 (based on level) armor penetration. Basic attacks will consume all stacks, but the armor penetration will linger for 3 seconds.
Unique Passive - Spectral Haste:
- Basic attacks that consume maximum Momentum grant 25% bonus attack speed for 4 seconds.
- Limited to 1 Youmuu's Ghostblade (Light).
Patch 4.2b
ChangeYoumuu’s Ghostblade is the starting item for a lot of champions, but it currently falls short when compared to some of the other items in the shop. We’re buffing up its stats to give it a competitive edge, while ensuring players can still pick it up before the first team fight.

- Total cost increased from g|2900|
- Combine cost increased from g|700|
- Attack damage increased from 50 to 55.
Patch 3.5
BuffYoumuu’s is in a decent spot power wise, but we’re making it a more attractive purchase by lowering its price a tad.
General
- Total cost reduced from 3000 gold to 2900 gold.
- Combine cost reduced from 800 gold to 700 gold.

BuffSince the nerfs to Momentum, Youmuu’s Ghostblade hasn’t been performing as well as the other Serrated Dirk items. We’re adding some extra stats to lend this item a hand.

- Ability haste increased from 10 to 15.
Unique passive - Slice
- Armor penetration increased from 12 to 15.
Patch 3.1
NerfGhostblade has been performing much better compared to other armor penetration items, so we are cutting back on some of the mobility it grants. We’ll continue to keep an eye on the other armor penetration items to ensure that there are proper tradeoffs between the different item options, now that Ghostblade will be offering less mobility.

- Maximum bonus movement speed reduced from 50 to 40.
