Overheal Current Status
Overheal has been changed in 7 League of Legends patches. 1 buff, 2 nerfs, 4 adjustments. Removed in Patch 14.10.

Patch 14.4

- In-game tracker now shows damage blocked instead of total shield created.
Patch 13.12
changeOverheal
- Removed: No longer has a base shield of 20 to 300 (based on level).
- New Effect: Shield now scales with 11% maximum health.
Patch 13.3

- Base shield increased to 20 to 300 (based on level) from 10 at all levels.
- Removed: Shield no longer scales with 9% maximum health.

- Healing conversion rate reduced to 20 to 100% (based on level) from 40 to 100% (based on level).

- Healing from allies conversion rate reduced to 40 to 100% (based on level) from 300%.
- Self healing conversion rate increased to 40 to 100% (based on level) from 40%.
- Removed: Shield no longer falls off after 6 seconds.
- New Effect: After 6 seconds, decays by 2.5% of the maximum shield value each second.
- Bug Fix: Tooltips and post-game stats now properly track total damage blocked rather than just the last instance of damage blocked.
